■Overview This device measures shaft vibration of various rotating machinery, including turbines, and supports dynamic balancing adjustments. We started with vibration measurement and dynamic balancing of turbine generators from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Vibration can always be a source of trouble in turbo machinery. In the case of long shafts or when strong centrifugal forces are at play, the elastic forces of the shaft can disrupt dynamic balance. However, it is not possible to test every potential operating condition in advance, so we must establish patterns and achieve balance accordingly. Being able to optimize quickly at that time becomes an important factor in the field. It is also possible to consolidate this into a condition monitoring system that manages long-term historical data.
