The Graco priming piston pump features the Check-Mate 450 series lower pump. This maintains a good pressure balance by reducing pressure loss during the pump's downward stroke. Conventional double-acting pumps are calibrated to balance according to the viscosity of specific materials, so when they are used to intake or discharge materials with viscosities other than the specified ones, an imbalance occurs. The Check-Mate pump minimizes fluctuations in pressure balance during the upward and downward strokes, demonstrating smooth flow characteristics across a wide range of material viscosities. By improving pump efficiency, it generates high hydraulic pressure suitable for sucking in high-viscosity materials and supplying materials to long discharge lines.
