The balls roll on the precision-machined four-row rolling surfaces of the LM rail and LM block, and the ball rows are circulated by the ball retainer and the end plate incorporated in the LM block. This is an integrated LM guide that has a similar internal structure to the proven LM guide SHS type with a ball retainer, arranged in a cross shape with the backs aligned, combining two LM rails. The SCR type allows for a perpendicular linear motion system without the need for a conventional saddle, simplifying the structure of the X-Y motion and enabling compact design.

● Four-direction equal load The ball rows are arranged at a contact angle of 45° to ensure that the load is uniform in four directions (radial, reverse radial, left and right) acting on the LM block, allowing for use in any orientation and making it suitable for a wide range of applications. ● High rigidity The arrangement of the balls in a well-balanced four-row configuration makes it strong against moments, and even when preloaded to improve rigidity, smooth linear motion can be achieved. The rigidity of the LM block is higher than that of conventional LM blocks that are back-to-back and fixed with bolts, making it ideal for constructing high-rigidity X-Y tables. ● Compact This is a one-piece LM guide that combines two LM rails in a cross shape with a similar internal structure to the LM guide SHS type with ball retainers. The SCR type alone can serve as an orthogonal LM guide, eliminating the need for conventional saddles, simplifying the structure of X-Y motion, and enabling compact design.
