The rotary ball screw is a nut-rotating ball screw unit where the ball screw nut and support bearing are integrated into a single structure. The support bearing is an angular bearing with a contact angle of 60° and a high number of balls, providing significant axial rigidity. The BLR type is available in specifications for precision ball screws and rolled ball screws.

● High-speed feeding capability Due to the rotation of the ball screw nut fixed to the screw shaft, high-speed feeding is possible with a thin screw shaft diameter. Therefore, the drive motor can be made smaller. ● Smooth operation Compared to linear motion using a rack and pinion, smoother operation is achieved. Additionally, since the screw shaft does not rotate with the ball screw nut drive, there is no rope skipping phenomenon, resulting in quieter operation and less heat generation. ● Quiet operation even at high speeds The BLR type uses an end cap method, which produces very little noise when the balls are picked up, and since the balls circulate inside the ball screw nut, it remains quiet even during high-speed operation. ● High rigidity Compared to the case of screw shaft rotation, the support bearings are larger, significantly improving axial rigidity. ● Compact design The ball screw nut and support bearings are integrated, allowing for a high-precision and compact design. ● Easy installation The ball screw nut rotation mechanism can be easily obtained by simply mounting it to the housing with bolts. (An internal diameter tolerance of H7 for the housing is recommended.)
