Plarad Co., Ltd. has developed the world's first digital automatic hydraulic pump, the IQ100CF-2, which allows torque values to be set using a liquid crystal touch panel, specifically designed for hydraulic torque wrenches. It will be released in mid-October 2015. This automatic pump achieves ultra-high precision torque management, allowing the tightening torque for large bolts to be set in "1Nm increments" using the world's first liquid crystal touch panel. All manufacturers' analog pressure gauges for 70MPa hydraulic pumps have pressure increments of 2MPa. Therefore, the torque conversion tables for hydraulic torque wrenches only provide torque values in 2MPa increments. Currently, users either set the hydraulic value based on an approximate torque they want to achieve for large bolts or make ambiguous adjustments by estimating half of the 1MPa increment.
