Aldec's TySOM embedded development kit has been certified for AWS IoT Greengrass.
Henderson, USA – August 5, 2020 – Aldec, Inc. (hereinafter "Aldec"), a pioneer in HDL mixed-language simulation and hardware-assisted verification for FPGA and ASIC, has obtained AWS IoT Greengrass certification for its Xilinx Zynq SoC-based Embedded Development Kit (EDK: Embedded Development Kit) TySOM family. AWS IoT Greengrass allows for seamless extension of Amazon Web Services (AWS) to edge devices, enabling local operation of generated data while utilizing the cloud for management, analytics, and durable storage. With AWS IoT Greengrass, connected devices can run AWS Lambda functions, Docker containers, or both, even when not connected to the internet, execute predictions based on machine learning models, synchronize device data, and communicate securely with other devices.
