High heat resistance and high hardness chrome plating "Cloamore"
It has an amorphous structure and possesses different characteristics from conventional crystalline chrome plating. Through heat treatment, its hardness can reach a maximum of HV1800, which is about twice that of hard chrome plating. While both Kuroamoru and hard chrome plating experience a softening of hardness when used at high temperatures, Kuroamoru, having reached its maximum hardness through heat treatment, can maintain a hardness of around HV1000 even when used at 600°C. Additionally, once hard chrome plating has been used at high temperatures and its hardness has softened, it does not fully return to its original hardness even when brought back to room temperature. In contrast, Kuroamoru returns to its original hardness each time it is brought back to room temperature, making it highly suitable for use in extremely high-temperature environments. Furthermore, it does not have cracks on the surface like hard chrome plating, which enhances its corrosion resistance, with the corrosion rate against hydrochloric acid being 1/3 to 1/6 that of hard chrome plating. *Free samples are also available. *Please feel free to contact us.
