Contec has developed a high-performance touch panel PC equipped with the 7th generation Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 processor (Kaby Lake U) and will start accepting orders for the new product "Panel Computer XPT-T1010 Series (hereinafter referred to as XPT-T1010)" from December 26, 2023. The new product XPT-T1010 is a panel computer that changes the CPU and touch panel LCD from the conventional product "XPT-T1000 Series," which is equipped with a 7th generation Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 processor. The CPU features a 7th generation Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 processor (Kaby Lake U), and the touch panel LCD is available in 12.1 inches, compatible with the mounting dimensions of our panel computer PT-955LXC series (discontinued product). The XPT-T1010 adopts a BTO (Build-To-Order) method that allows customers to freely choose storage, RAID, OS, and more, enabling them to select products with optimal specifications according to their applications and budgets.

Avalue Technology Inc. will add 10-inch wide and 15-inch wide models of the ARC series, which features highly expandable touch panel PCs with a modular structure. The wide LCD series retains the advantages of the ARC series, such as shock resistance, waterproofing, and a wide operating temperature range, while enabling continuous interaction in public network access environments, making it suitable for applications such as information terminals, outdoor digital signage, kiosks, and light industrial use. It is equipped with a flat-type capacitive touchscreen and an easy-to-install open frame module design. The CPU is powered by the Intel Apollo Lake processor, and there is also a model with the 6th generation Intel Core i5-6300U processor for the 15-inch version. The front complies with IP65 and the back with IP45, allowing for use in dusty and humid environments without issues. Additionally, to prevent system damage from unstable power, it supports a wide voltage input range of DC 12-26V and has passed MIL-STD-810 vibration, shock, and drop tests, ensuring normal operation even in harsh environments such as industrial automation systems.
