The RoHS Directive is a European law concerning the regulation of chemical substances in electrical and electronic equipment. It specifies a wide range of substances, from inorganic to organic materials, as regulated items and establishes respective threshold values for each. When domestic companies export products related to electrical and electronic equipment to Europe and other regions, they must demonstrate that the content of all these items is below the threshold values. This e-learning will provide an overview of GC/MS analysis related to phthalate esters in accordance with the RoHS Directive, as well as solutions for improving operational efficiency using the Thermo Scientific Chromeleon 7 chromatography data system.
