The Rock Bonding DK Bond Method is a technique that stabilizes unstable rock masses by bonding them to stable bedrock using an adhesive material (DK Bond Mortar). Since the first public works project implemented in Okayama Prefecture in 1977, there have been approximately 3,700 construction cases across all 47 prefectures in Japan by June 2020, spanning over 40 years. In addition to construction on rock masses and boulders, there has been an increase in requests for construction on stone walls due to the inconspicuous nature of the work. This time, construction was carried out at Asaharu Bridge in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture.
