A game changer in grinding and polishing automation! Leaving no 3K jobs for the next generation. Solving the shortage of skilled workers. Building a polishing robot system that equips robots with human-like sensory capabilities through high-speed autonomous correction control of contact force!
FerRobotics' Active Compliant Technology automatically corrects the "difference" in contact pressure (force) that occurs during polishing and grinding processes, which require skilled techniques, at high speed. This technology allows for consistent polishing/grinding with a set contact force, unaffected by variations in processing speed or gravitational load differences due to angles. With the end effector (ACF) utilizing ACT technology, it instantly adjusts to changes in the dimensional tolerances, curved shapes, and non-flat surfaces of the workpiece by rapidly and automatically correcting the stroke's extension and contraction, maintaining contact with the workpiece at the set force. This technology can increase the speed of the device or robot's trajectory, thereby enhancing processing speed and improving cycle times. Additionally, in robotic polishing and grinding, the ACF controls the contact pressure through the extension and contraction of its stroke, eliminating the need to move the heavy robot arm for corrections, which further assists in improving the processing speed of robotic polishing. Furthermore, it automatically corrects tool load variations caused by gravity changes due to the robot's angle, ensuring a consistent contact pressure from any angle and enabling a finish without processing inconsistencies.

To Hokuriku Electric Power Transmission and Distribution Company: Transitioning from helicopter inspections to drone inspections. Moving towards full-scale operations for overhead line inspection services.
Hokuriku Electric Power Transmission and Distribution Company has conducted a verification of the introduction of the power line drone inspection solution "BEP Line" with the aim of full-scale operation for the inspection of overhead ground wires within its jurisdiction. This is the first verification of drone introduction for the company's overhead ground wire inspections. For more details, please check the page below. https://www.blue-i.co.jp/cases/rikuden/index.html *1 Overhead ground wire This refers to a grounding wire installed above the power lines to protect them from lightning strikes, serving to shield the power and distribution lines from direct lightning hits. *2 BEP Line The drone automatically follows along the power line with a single click, capturing and acquiring various data necessary for inspections, thereby automating, streamlining, and enhancing the safety of inspection operations.
Automated guided vehicles (AGVs) regularly patrol the facility, managing and digitizing the facility's condition. This realizes the digital transformation of daily inspections.
