MTS Sensors, a division of MTS Systems Corporation, announced the expansion of its LP series, the next-generation model of the LevelPlus liquid level gauge, which has obtained intrinsic safety explosion-proof and pressure-resistant explosion-proof certification in Japan through CML. The LP series includes models such as TankSlayer, RefineME, CHAMBERED, and SoClean, based on MTS Sensors' proprietary Temposonics magnetostrictive sensing technology. The CML certification for the LP series targets applications in hazardous areas within the hygiene sectors of the oil and gas, chemical and mining, food and beverage, and pharmaceutical industries in Japan. All models in this series come with an integrated display, and customers can also order either intrinsic safety explosion-proof or pressure-resistant explosion-proof constructions certified by INMETRO, NEC, CEC, ATEX, or IECEx.
