We have implemented the following functional improvements in the electrical equipment CAD "MEP Designer PRO," "Brain Gear Supra," and "ARCADE NEO." 1. Wiring Length Adjustment In electrical equipment, when connecting wiring to equipment symbols on panels, a length of 1.5M was added during the picking process. Based on requests, we have prepared a "Wiring Length Adjustment" command to allow for individual settings. 2. Starting from October 1, 2020, we began offering contracted services for wiring pattern photography and CAD data conversion of images.
To analyze the wiring and metal patterns of multilayer substrates, printed circuit boards were cut layer by layer and visually inspected (using visible light). This method destroys the printed circuit boards, making it difficult to analyze valuable substrates, and non-destructive testing is desired. On the other hand, conventional non-destructive X-ray CT imaging faced challenges in layer separation of multilayer printed circuit boards due to limitations in resolution and density resolution. We have now developed a new X-ray CT system that allows for high-resolution CT imaging of multilayer circuit boards, enabling layer separation. Additionally, we have adopted new CAD software to visualize the wiring patterns layer by layer in CAD format for our clients. *Please note that we will not be exhibiting at "SEMICON Japan 2020," which we have participated in every year. Guide to Linear Encoders Due to the discontinuation of the Keyence "VP-90," Makome Laboratory is proposing replacement products. As a replacement for the Keyence "VP-90," Makome Laboratory recommends the magnetic linear encoder "SI-140" system. The "SI-140" system utilizes magnetism to measure a scale that is magnetized alternately and evenly with N and S poles, in a non-contact manner. Because it uses magnetism, it can measure lengths without being affected by non-magnetic materials. The head has a protection structure rated IP67 (compliant with IEC standards). The output is in A and B phase with a resolution of 0.1mm. When using an incremental measurement device with a 4x multiplier, it can be used at 0.025mm. The detection distance between the head and the scale is 4±3mm (1 to 7mm), allowing for some variation in distance. The output circuit is a MOS FET open-drain output, which can be extended up to 5m. Additionally, there is a separate line driver output type that can be extended up to 100m. *The MOS FET open-drain is almost equivalent to an NPN transistor output.
