Chemical polishing agent for aluminum (phosphoric acid + sulfuric acid type) "Pika S"

The aging of the liquid is slow, and the quality is stable! It is suitable for the semi-gloss finish of most aluminum alloys!

"PiKa S" is a chemical polishing agent for aluminum that does not require liquid management. It provides a gentle texture with subdued gloss for blasted products, hairline polished materials, extrusions, etc., such as Al-Mg series Al alloys, Al-Mg-Si series Al alloys, and pure Al. Additionally, since it does not use nitric acid at all, nitrous gas (NO, NOX) is not generated. 【Features】 ■ Suitable for semi-gloss finishing of most Al alloys ■ Can be processed at lower temperatures and in shorter times compared to conventional products ■ Easy liquid management with just the replenishment of PiKa S ■ Mild reaction yields a uniform glossy surface ■ Liquid aging is slow, ensuring stable quality *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Example] Test Polishing for Scale Removal from Glass in a Hot Spring Facility

Choose a solvent without scratching the glass! Finished with a smooth surface without any scratches.

We would like to introduce a case study of glass scale removal testing at a hot spring facility. The glass partition in front of us was completely covered in scale, so we decided on a test area, masked it off, and cleaned the surface before starting the polishing. We carefully selected a solvent that would not scratch the glass and gradually removed the scale. Upon checking the surface, we found no scratches and finished with a smooth surface. At G,T,O,S, we address the scale caused by differences in components at each hot spring facility with our own developed solvents. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

For removing glass scratches, acid burns, salt damage, and water stains, choose GTOS "Glass Rebirth Polishing."

What causes glass stains? Commercial facilities have an environment that makes it easy for glass stains to adhere.

The glass in commercial facilities often includes large panes, with various shapes that prioritize design, and there are many show windows that customers frequently touch, which can harbor causes of glass stains such as water spots and streaks. Additionally, maintenance of large glass panes facing outdoors is challenging, with risks of salt damage from sea breezes and the potential for acid etching of the glass surface from acidic cleaners used during exterior painting. Thus, commercial facilities create an environment where glass stains are likely to accumulate. In this column, we will provide detailed information about the causes of glass stains in commercial facilities and our "Glass Restoration Polishing" service. *For more details, you can view the related links. Please feel free to contact us for further inquiries.*

[Construction Case] Test Results for Scale Removal and Scratch Repair Polishing of Bathroom Mirrors

The bathroom mirror that is not visible due to cloudiness has been re-polished once and treated with a hydrophobic coating! It is possible to maintain the mirror's original shine.

We would like to introduce a case study of testing and polishing a mirror that was heavily covered in scale, which was actually used in a bathroom. After removing the scale, we verified by intentionally scratching the surface and measuring the solvent and rotation speed. Once we polished down to the depth of the scratches and achieved a flat surface, we finished the process. Although the steps were few, the surface became smooth through careful polishing, and the task was completed. 【Overview】 ■Issues - Most bathroom mirrors are fogged up and not visible due to scale. ■Proposal - Perform a regeneration polish and apply a hydrophilic coating. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

What is the difference between abrasives?

The comparison board shows the effects after the application of grid blasting and sand blasting. The grid uses metal-based abrasives, while the sand uses non-metal-based materials.

◎Grit Blast (Blast/Type 1 Surface Preparation, English: Grit blast) One of the surface treatment methods (surface preparation). There are four types of surface preparation, from Type 1 to Type 4, and grit blast serves as the substrate treatment for the highest grade, Type 1 surface preparation. ◎Sand Blast (Blast/Type 1 Surface Preparation, English: Sand blast) One of the surface treatment methods (surface preparation). There are four types of surface preparation, from Type 1 to Type 4, and sand blast serves as the substrate treatment for the highest grade, Type 1 surface preparation. For stainless steel and cast iron specifications, we can accommodate lot sizes from 1 to 1,000 pieces. Grit blast uses hard abrasives, resulting in a rougher surface finish. It also shortens construction time, making it suitable for large fabricated products and paint stripping. On the other hand, sand blast uses softer abrasives, resulting in a smoother surface finish. It is suitable for thin materials and those with minimal shape changes. Additionally, sand blast can be applied to non-metal products as it uses non-metallic abrasives. We also accept inquiries regarding abrasives and other related matters. Harada Iron Works Hiroshima Official Link

Non-woven abrasive material "flap wheel"

Non-woven abrasive material suitable for finishing printed circuit boards and drum polishing of copper foil manufacturing.

Our company manufactures a non-woven abrasive material called "flap wheel," which features non-woven abrasive material planted radially towards the center around the circumference of a bake tube. It is used for polishing by rotating it at the outer circumference. The structure allows for easy production of products tailored to user needs, such as flexibility, adaptability, and hardness adjustments. We can manufacture products according to customer requirements, including hardness, grain size, dimensions, and intended use. Please feel free to contact us. 【Features】 - A suitable processed product and usage method for non-woven abrasive materials, which are difficult to distribute abrasive grains uniformly inside and outside. - A structure that makes it easy to create products suited to users, with adjustments for flexibility, adaptability, and hardness. - When used in automatic polishing machines, the hair length is made to about 20% of the diameter to minimize the hardness difference between the outer and inner parts. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Steel Magic

Does not contain silica, which causes silicosis! Can be used as disposable media.

"Steel Magic" is a product suitable for the removal of thick reinforced coatings and surface preparation from sturdy iron structures such as bridges, tanks (car washes), ships, and pipelines, where etching (surface preparation) is required to improve paint adhesion. It processes at about twice the speed of typical blast media while generating less dust, allowing for the rapid removal of stronger epoxy and urethane coatings. By adjusting the discharge pressure and abrasive size, etching treatment can also be performed. 【Features】 ■ Rapid removal of stronger epoxy and urethane coatings ■ Capable of etching treatment ■ Can be reused approximately five times at low pressure (35-80 psi) ■ Can be used as a disposable media at high pressure (100-120 psi) ■ Does not contain silica, which can cause pneumoconiosis *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
