FMC casting creates foam models that are identical in shape to the products using expanded polystyrene, and then produces the products by embedding these foam models in sand molds and replacing them with molten metal. This process minimizes the occurrence of burrs and enables the creation of complex and high-precision products. For small lots, cost reduction is possible compared to wooden pattern methods.
