At Sakurai Kousan, we conduct general metal heat treatment processing. In our headquarters factory and materials division, we have a wide range of equipment, including continuous quenching furnaces for round bars and tempering furnaces with excellent temperature distribution that use city gas as a heat source, as well as batch-type annealing and normalizing furnaces, quenching furnaces, and solution treatment furnaces for stainless steel. We are capable of handling a variety of heat treatments, from structural special steels to nuclear-related materials, and we also flexibly accommodate heat treatment for not only round bar materials but also small forged items such as screws and bolts. Additionally, we actively promote the rationalization and acceleration of our production system, with advancements in automation. Our Arako factory, which operates 24 hours a day, meets mass production needs and has established a processing capacity of 100 tons per day. With a continuous heat treatment furnace measuring 38 meters in length, we can process round bars up to 8 meters long under various conditions, including annealing, spheroidizing annealing, and normalizing. Carburizing and nitriding treatment refers to the process of simultaneously or continuously performing carburizing and nitriding. Generally, for materials with poor hardenability, such as low-carbon low-alloy steel, carburizing is conducted while adding ammonia gas or similar substances to achieve both carburizing and nitriding, aiming to improve the hardenability of the material at lower transformation temperatures. By performing nitriding, it becomes possible to effectively introduce hardness into materials that do not harden with carburizing alone. The quality characteristics obtained from carburizing and nitriding treatment include improved wear resistance and fatigue strength, similar to carburizing, as well as enhanced softening resistance. We carry out shine treatment for a variety of products, from large items to small goods!

Bright annealing refers to a state where the product shines brightly, as the name suggests. The atmosphere of the heat treatment furnace is adjusted to process the products without causing surface oxidation. Our company uses nitrogen gas and a mixture of nitrogen and hydrogen gas to prevent oxidation on the product surface. We manage the atmosphere from the time the products are loaded into the heat treatment furnace until the heating and cooling processes are complete. We have a pit-type bright annealing setup, allowing us to perform bright annealing on a variety of products, from large items to small parts. A metal heating element refers to a type of resistance heating element among general heating sources. Electric heating elements for industrial furnaces that include this metal heating element are used in various industries such as metal heat treatment, electronic components, ceramics, and chemical industries. Our company manufactures electric furnace heaters suitable for furnace temperatures up to 1200°C using iron-chromium-aluminum alloy (FeCrAl), which is a type of metal heating element. The shapes of metal heating elements vary. Here, we introduce some of the products we handle. 1. Round wire coil heating element This is a heating element made by spirally winding round wire. The wire diameter and outer coil diameter are set according to the heater's capacity and temperature. 2. Strip heating element A zigzag-shaped circuit is formed by alternately slitting plate-like material. By adjusting the slit width, the resistance value of the heating element is changed, allowing for precise design of heater output. Additionally, we perform concave processing calculated to suppress deformation due to thermal expansion of the heating element. This technology has been developed uniquely by our company.
