In response, we developed a water-based heat sealant that achieves performance equivalent to solvent types by applying it over a primer. In the packaging and pharmaceutical manufacturing sector, there were concerns such as "We want to reduce the content of organic solvents to decrease VOC emissions." In response, we developed a coating agent that exhibits adhesion equal to or greater than that of conventional solvent types, using only alcohol and water as solvents. As a result, the use of water and alcohol as solvents allows for the reduction of VOC emissions, and the temperature at which adhesion begins in PTP packaging configurations is approximately -20°C (compared to our conventional products).
