HOLT's world's smallest MIL-STD-1553 protocol IC

The MAMBA series features a 6mm x 6mm MIL-STD-1553 terminal (SPI interface).

The MAMBA series consists of 3.3V CMOS devices that provide a host processor and MIL-STD-1553B bus interface. Each IC includes BC, MT, and RT, allowing for simultaneous operation with any combination of 1553 functions. Valid terminals communicate with the MIL-STD-1553 bus via a shared on-chip dual bus transceiver and external transformers. There are four types based on functionality: - HI-6138: BC, MT, RT - HI-6137: BC, RT - HI-6136: MT, RT - HI-6135: RT Users can allocate 16KByte (8K×17Bit words) of on-chip SRAM between devices according to application requirements. The HI-613x communicates with the host via a 40MHz 4-wire SPI. Programmable interrupts provide terminal status to the host processor.

The HI-3582A/83A is a CMOS device designed to directly connect a 16-bit parallel data bus to an ARINC 429 bus.

The Holt HI-3582A/HI-3583A is a CMOS device designed to directly interface a 16-bit parallel data bus with an ARINC 429 serial bus. Compared to the previous HI-3582/HI-3583 products, the HI-3582A/HI-3583A offers a high-speed host CPU interface. This device provides two receivers with label recognition, a 32×32 FIFO, and an analog line receiver. Up to 16 labels can be programmed for each receiver. The independent transmitter includes a 32×32 FIFO and a built-in line driver. The status of all three FIFOs can be monitored using external status pins or by polling the HI-3582A/HI-3583A status register. Other features include a programmable option for the 32nd bit to be either data or parity, and the ability to unscramble 32-bit words.

Holt's ARINC 429 Protocol IC HI-35930

HI-35930/31/32/33 is a CMOS device for directly connecting SPI-compatible microcontrollers to the ARINC 429 bus.

The HI-35930 from Holt is a CMOS integrated circuit designed to connect SPI-compatible microcontrollers to the ARINC 429 serial bus. This device features two receivers, each with user-programmable label recognition for any combination of 256 possible labels, a 32×32 receive FIFO, three priority label quick access double buffer registers, and an analog line receiver. Both line receivers meet the lightning protection requirements of RTCA/DO-160G, Section 22, Level 3. The independent transmitter includes a 32×32 transmit FIFO and an integrated line driver. The line driver operates on a single 3.3V power supply and includes an on-chip DC/DC converter that generates the bipolar ARINC 429 differential voltage levels necessary to directly drive the ARINC 429 bus. The status of the transmit and receive FIFOs and the priority label buffer can be monitored using a programmable external interrupt pin or by polling the status register.

Laser Diode Driver ELM185 Series

ELM185 is a laser diode driver (LD driver IC) with an integrated APC (Automatic Power Control) circuit.

**Overview** The ELM185xB is a bipolar structure laser diode driver IC that incorporates an APC circuit consisting of a reference voltage source and an error amplifier. It stabilizes the laser output against changes in supply voltage and temperature using the reference voltage source within the IC. The driver output can drive laser currents of up to 400mA. Due to its compact package, it allows for implementation in a minimal area. As a protective feature, it includes a cutoff circuit for abnormal high temperatures and has the capability to limit the laser drive current in case of control loop failure. The current limit value can be set using an external resistor. It also has a built-in surge-absorbing Zener diode (Vz≈7V) between the power supply (VCC-GND) to prevent laser diode damage. It can drive multiple types of laser diode modules (LDM). A standalone Nanopower sensor monitor ideal for designs with strict cost constraints. It autonomously monitors signals while optimizing the system's power, reliability, and performance. Capacitive sensing using ground capacitors and sensors is a non-contact sensing technology with ultra-low power consumption, low cost, and high resolution, applicable in a wide range of applications from proximity detection and gesture recognition to raw material analysis and remote liquid level sensing. Since any metal or conductor can be used as a sensor in the capacitive sensing system, it enables low-cost and highly flexible system design. Each channel of the 'FDC1004' has a full-scale range of ±15pF and can accommodate sensor offset capacitance of up to 100pF. For tracking environmental changes across the entire time/temperature range, it allows for internal programming and can also use external capacitors. The large offset capacitance makes it suitable for remote sensors. Additionally, it features a shield driver for sensor shielding, enabling reduction of EMI interference and focusing the sensing direction of the capacitive sensor. Its small footprint makes it ideal for applications with space constraints. It is available in a 10-pin WSON/VSSOP package and includes an I2C interface for interfacing with MCUs. Evaluation modules and reference designs are also available.

1-channel, rail-to-rail input, micro-power low voltage comparator 'TLV7011'

Ideal for portable/battery-powered devices with strict space constraints. This is a single-channel micro-power comparator that operates at low voltage and has rail-to-rail input capability. It offers an excellent combination of speed and power consumption, with a propagation delay of 260 ns and a quiescent current of 5 μA. This high response time, combined with micro-power consumption, allows for quick responses to fault conditions even in power-limited systems. The operating voltage range is 1.6V to 5.5V, making it compatible with 3V and 5V systems. There is no phase inversion of the output for overdrive inputs, and it features internal hysteresis. It is ideal for accurate voltage monitoring when there is a need to convert slowly varying input signals into clean digital outputs in harsh and noisy environments. It has a push-pull output stage, capable of sinking and sourcing several milliamps of current when controlling LEDs or driving capacitive loads. The package is an ultra-small leadless package measuring 0.8mm x 0.8mm.
