The use of Acoustic Pulse Reflectometry (APR) is suitable for inspecting heat exchangers and boiler tubes. It detects defects (such as holes, corrosion, and blockages) inside the tubes using a non-destructive and non-invasive method. The preparation for measurement is simply to clean and dry the inside of the tube. The measurement process is also very simple; you just insert the probe into the hole and inject the acoustic pulse. The machine records and analyzes the reflected echoes to detect defects. With its unique and sophisticated algorithms, it accurately identifies the location, type, and nature of the defects.
