Simulating breathing patterns (spontaneous breathing) from newborns to adults.
The ASL5000 is a high-precision breathing simulator controlled digitally. It performs accurate and stable simulations by moving the piston within the cylinder through pressure data feedback. Modeling of patient lungs (settings for compliance, airway resistance, respiratory effort pressure profiles, etc.) is done on a dedicated software interface.
