Achieving hydrophilization of Teflon (PTFE)! [*Video of the coating test now available!]

Achieving painting on Teflon, which is usually difficult to bond! Free evaluation test data available!

The dry process of plasma surface treatment brings special processing to the surface of materials and is attracting attention from various fields as a next-generation surface treatment technology aimed at enhancing product functionality and adding high value. With the plasma technology from Kai Semiconductor, it has become possible to paint, print, and bond to Teflon (PTFE), which was previously considered difficult. In vacuum plasma treatment, the water contact angle changes from 102 degrees to 47 degrees. The tensile shear adhesive strength increases from 370 kPa to 1100 kPa, achieving three times the strength! In our catalog, we introduce various examples of treatments not only for plates but also for structures such as tubes, utilizing batch processing vacuum plasma and continuous processing atmospheric pressure plasma. *We are currently offering free evaluation test data for pre-treatment of painting and bonding on Teflon (PTFE)! Please download it from the form below for more details. *We are also sharing videos of the painting tests. Click below to view more details.

Surface treatment of springs (plating and painting)

Even with stainless steel, surface treatment is possible if you have requests regarding lubrication, appearance, etc.

We will introduce the topic of "Surface Treatment of Springs (Plating and Coating)." Surface treatment is essential for springs made from steel-based materials. After all, iron is prone to corrosion, and it is not uncommon for it to lead to breakage. While inexpensive treatments may involve applying anti-corrosion oil, there are concerns about chemical attacks, and the corrosion resistance may not be sufficient. Even with stainless steel, surface treatment is possible if there are requests for lubrication, appearance, etc. Additionally, there are various treatments for springs, such as burr removal and improving fatigue strength. Please refer to the table of recommended surface treatments from our company. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.*

Film formation is possible on various base materials such as iron, aluminum, and copper! Chrome-free surface treatment.

A new coating that achieves complete chrome-free performance! It has excellent adhesion and can form a film on various metals such as iron, aluminum, copper, and stainless steel.

"ERIN" is a completely chrome-free surface treatment that does not use "hexavalent chromium," which is a cause of environmental burden. It excels in adhesion, rust resistance, and wear resistance, and can form a film on various substrates. <Examples of Compatibility> Iron, Aluminum, Copper, Stainless Steel, etc. Additionally, as it is a coating developed based on the phenomenon of room temperature impact curing, there is no thermal assistance during film formation. Raw material particles collide with the substrate at high speed, crushing and deforming to form a dense and smooth film without voids. 【Features】 ■ Improved wear resistance (1-3μm) ■ Coating hardness (HV1000-1200) ■ Insulating coating ■ No distortion or dimensional changes due to heat, as it is a room temperature treatment ■ Heat resistance (−70 to 750°C: coating) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Is chromate treatment necessary after zinc plating?

Is chromate treatment necessary after zinc plating of Silvec?

Q: Is chromate treatment necessary for zinc-coated surfaces? A: In the case of electro-galvanized coatings, chromate treatment is applied to most products after zinc plating. Zinc coatings are very prone to rust. For zinc plating on iron materials, the zinc coating helps to delay the onset of red rust by corroding (forming white rust), which prevents the occurrence of red rust. Chromate treatment is performed to prevent the formation of white rust (for rust prevention purposes). The corrosion resistance against the formation of white rust depends on the performance of the chromate coating.

The accuracy of the stage remains the same! Odent processing that does not require ionizers and the like.

Reduces the glass peeling and charging phenomenon, making ionizers unnecessary! Cuts down on running costs, maintenance, and replacement costs! Original anti-static treatment.

"Odent processing" is an anti-static treatment that reduces the glass peeling charge phenomenon by applying a proprietary specialized chemical etching and plating process. The secret to the anti-static effect lies in the fine, dense, and specially shaped structure on the surface of the aluminum component. This structure allows for point contact with the glass substrate, significantly reducing the actual contact area. By minimizing the effective area involved in charging, the generation of static electricity is also reduced. [Features] ■ Anti-static through corona discharge due to the pointed structure ■ High durability with no degradation of effectiveness even after 300,000 contacts ■ High hardness comparable to hard chrome ■ No distortion during processing due to chemical treatment *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Shine Craft's 【High-Temperature Heat-Resistant Surface Treatment (600℃)】

We will introduce a surface treatment that prevents metal oxidation even under high-temperature conditions of 600℃ or higher.

Generally, when iron materials are subjected to heat above 600°C, the surface oxidizes, leading to potential issues. Shine Kogei's [High-Temperature Heat-Resistant Surface Treatment] combines substrate thermal spraying with heat-resistant surface coating. It is a coating technology that can resist oxidation caused by direct heating from the outside, as well as that from within the metal. There are examples of its application in molds used for heating food at high temperatures.

No release agent needed! Surface treatment that can improve transferability for fixtures used in intaglio and other transfer processes.

[Surface Treatment Processing] Surface treatment technology 'NANOS (Organic Nano Film Treatment Technology)' to improve the transferability of fixtures for the transfer process. *Bring-in tests are acceptable.

The organic nano thin film treatment technology "NANOS" can apply functional films that enhance water repellency, oil repellency, dirt resistance (fingerprint resistance), and slip properties (dynamic friction coefficient) to metal and glass substrates such as stainless steel (SUS) and nickel (Ni) through spray treatment and vacuum deposition using a special fluoropolymer. The maximum temperature of the entire process is 80°C, which minimizes thermal impact on the substrate, and since it is colorless and transparent, it has little effect on optical properties. 【Examples of Use】 ■ Target: Jigs for transfer processes (such as gravure) ■ Purpose: Improved transferability (without release agent) 【Features】 ○ Excellent water and oil repellency Pure water: over 110°; n-hexadecane: over 68° ○ Thin film thickness can be controlled Spray treatment: 5–10nm (can be controlled in increments of 1nm) Vacuum deposition: 5–45nm (can be controlled in increments of 5nm) ○ Minimal impact on optical properties (colorless and transparent) ○ Low-temperature process Our surface treatment methods include both deposition and spray methods. You can specify the treatment method, or you can leave it to us. Please feel free to consult with us! (Sales of the machinery itself are subject to consultation)
