【Case Study of Crystal Analysis Device】Observation of Phase Separation and Remixing of Mixed Solutions

A mixed solution that mixes more as it cools! It has been confirmed that it can also be used to determine the critical temperature in mixed solutions.

We would like to introduce a case study on the use of the crystallization device "Crystal16." We are considering a method to apply this device to observe the phase separation and re-mixing behavior of mixed solutions. Two types of stirring mechanisms, Bottom Stirrer and Top Stirrer, can be used. When using the Top Stirrer, it was confirmed that the liquid surface can be stirred with sufficient strength, ensuring that the contents of the vial are uniformly mixed and suspended. As the name suggests, this product's main application is to obtain solubility curves through crystallization operations of solids; however, it has also been confirmed that it can be used to determine the critical temperature in mixed solutions. [Case Study of Crystallization Device] Confirmation of Crystal Form Transition by Crystalline

A case where the timing of crystal form transition was confirmed, and it was verified whether conditions could be established to easily collect the desired crystal form!

We would like to introduce a case study on the utilization of the crystallization device "Crystalline." Using this device (manufactured by Technobis), which has a camera function, we confirmed the timing of the transition between crystal forms and whether we could easily set conditions to recover the desired crystal form. In cases like carbamazepine, where the crystal form transitions rapidly, it is necessary to accurately grasp the timing of crystal generation and the transition of crystal forms in order to obtain the crystal form before the transition. By using the camera function of this device, we can observe the situation inside the vial and easily confirm the desired timing. [Test] - Carbamazepine yields needle-like Type II crystals through rapid cooling, which then transition to block-like Type III crystals. - Measurements were conducted using the following program to confirm the timing of Type II crystal generation and the transition to Type III crystals: - Raise the solution temperature to 70°C and confirm that carbamazepine is completely dissolved. - Cool to 20°C at -20°C/min. - Hold at 20°C for 4 hours. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study of Membrane Permeability Measurement System] Evaluation of Membrane Permeability Using μFLUX

We would like to introduce a case study on the application of the membrane permeability measurement system "μFLUX." In our previous research, we developed a sustained-release formulation containing an alkalizer, and we attempted to apply this device to evaluate its usefulness in reducing gastric mucosal damage caused by DC. Pulsation tester

This is a device that applies pulsating back pressure to the exhaust of a vehicle and conducts durability tests on the muffler. It is used to verify compliance with the regulation 81/334/EEC pulsation test.

The structure is designed to direct the total exhaust gas from a vehicle or engine, adjusted to the output and rotation speed specified by regulations, into this device, and then discharge it externally via a valve. When the vehicle or engine is connected in an operational state, closing this valve increases the exhaust pressure, while opening it decreases the pressure.
