Case Study: Waste Reduction through the Recycling of Scrap Magnets

100% recycling rate! A case where recycling was proposed as subgrade material or forming suppressants.

We would like to introduce a case study on waste reduction for manufacturers using magnets in products such as motor magnets. The company faced the challenge of wanting to dispose of unused magnets while aiming for zero emissions and seeking to recycle them in some form. As a solution, we proposed recycling them as roadbed materials or foaming suppressants. Foaming suppressants are materials used to suppress the foaming and expansion of slag in the steel industry’s converters. As a result, while the processing costs increased, the goal of zero emissions was achieved by recycling the materials in a different industry instead of disposing of them in landfills. [Case Study] ■ Target Customer: Manufacturers using magnets in products such as motor magnets ■ Challenge: Wanting to dispose of unused magnets while aiming for zero emissions and seeking to recycle them in some form ■ Effect: Achieved the goal of zero emissions *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Reduction of Waste through the Valorization of Waste Butyric Acid

We propose methods to reduce incineration disposal volume! A case where emissions and disposal costs were reduced by 100%.

We would like to introduce a cost reduction case for manufacturers involved in the cleaning process using organic solvents in the manufacturing of precision parts and precision filters. The company faced the challenge of wanting to reduce the amount of waste solvent (butyl acetate) and disposal costs. To address this, we proposed a method to separate as much as possible within the process, increasing the butyl acetate content to about 70%, thus turning it into a recyclable valuable material and reducing the amount to be incinerated. As a result, we were able to achieve a 100% reduction in both the amount discharged and disposal costs by converting all of it into a valuable material. [Case Study] ■ Target Customers: Manufacturers involved in the cleaning process using organic solvents in the manufacturing of precision parts and precision filters ■ Challenge: To reduce the amount of waste solvent (butyl acetate) and disposal costs ■ Effect: 100% reduction in both the amount discharged and disposal costs by converting all into a valuable material *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Case study: Reduction of waste through the monetization of waste plastics (PP, PS, PE) balls.

Reduction of disposal costs by approximately 2 million yen per year! Introduction of a case where we proposed the valuable purchase of plastic cardboard!

During the setup change in injection molding processes, plastic clumps are generated. We would like to introduce a case study on waste and cost reduction for plastic molding companies. The company faced the challenge of wanting to reduce the waste costs associated with the plastic clumps generated during injection molding. In response, we proposed the purchase of plastic clumps as valuable materials. The plastic clumps can be processed through crushing and melting to create re-pellets. As a result, the monetization of plastic clumps allowed for a 100% reduction in waste plastic disposal costs. [Case Study] ■ Target Customer: Plastic molding companies that generate plastic clumps during setup changes in injection molding processes. ■ Challenge: To reduce the waste costs of plastic clumps generated during injection molding. ■ Effects: - 100% reduction in waste plastic disposal costs through the monetization of plastic clumps. - For a customer with a discharge volume of 4 tons/month: approximately 2 million yen/year reduction in disposal costs. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

June 9, 2017, Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare Notification: What is "secure packaging" for asbestos-containing waste?

Asbestos Level 3 Transport Relay Bag in accordance with Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare guidelines! 'Asbestos-containing industrial waste' 'Handling precautions' displayed!

According to a notice from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, "For asbestos and other materials removed from buildings, it is necessary to ensure that there is no risk of asbestos dust being released by carrying out secure packaging, and to display clearly visible indications on each package that it contains asbestos, along with handling precautions." Our labeled relay bags comply with this requirement. We offer two types: the 1,000-liter type "RB100S2B-DCL-A," which can hold large debris, and the compact 100-liter type "RB10R2B-DCL-A," which is suitable for manual handling. Both bags display the text "Asbestos-containing industrial waste" and "Handling precautions." Additionally, the inner surface is laminated, and the opening is sealed to ensure airtightness. Please use our labeled relay bags for the disposal of asbestos level 3 asbestos-containing industrial waste. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

We also accept waste with high salt content (such as miso, soy sauce, and seasonings).

We also process food waste with high salt content, which is often avoided in waste disposal, through our methane fermentation!

We also handle waste that has been considered difficult for methane fermentation until now. Our company is focusing on research and development related to methane fermentation and has been working to expand the range of materials suitable for this process. One of these is food with high salt content. High salt concentrations inhibit fermentation, so such materials have not been processed much through methane fermentation, but we accept them. Additionally, we are recently challenging ourselves with wastewater from industrial factories. Even materials for which our customers cannot determine the feasibility of methane fermentation, we will conduct tests. ■ High-salt foods we can handle Miso, soy sauce, powdered soup, seasonings, concentrated food products, etc. ■ Waste with high fiber content We are also addressing vegetable scraps, so please feel free to inquire. ■ Indeterminate waste We will assess the suitability for methane fermentation processing. Please feel free to contact us. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

We buy metals contained in sludge and scale generated during metal processing!

Are you spending money to dispose of sludge and scale? Turn disposal costs into profits through recycling! *There is a list of items eligible for purchase.

At Revitalize, we evaluate and purchase sludge and metal scraps containing metals such as copper and nickel that are generated during metal processing. We assess the sludge containing metals that are currently being disposed of at a cost and buy those that can be recycled and reused as valuable materials. We have also achieved results where what was once a cost has turned into profit! Additionally, Revitalize handles the purchase of valuable items, primarily focusing on fluorinated solvents. We evaluate used solvents, acids, etc., and buy those that can be recycled and reused as valuable materials. We also offer suggestions for alternatives. Instead of judging whether a solvent is suitable based solely on documents, we conduct tests and propose solvents that fit your company! ★ "HCFC-225," which is regulated by the Ozone Layer Protection Act, is a cleaning agent used by many companies and will soon be prohibited from production by the end of 2019. ■ Looking for alternative products ■ Having trouble disposing of products currently in use ■ How long can they be used? ■ Is the cleaning machine okay as it is? If any of the above applies to you, please feel free to contact us or download the materials on the items we purchase for more details.
