Differences in amino acids: Antibodies that can distinguish slight differences.

Currently offering free consultations + advice available. What if you could distinguish one amino acid using convenient tools like antibodies? Here are examples of creating highly specific antibodies.

With "Antibody Craftsman," selection is performed in vitro against fixed antigens without using animal immunization. This allows for binding reactions to be conducted in the state or environment of prepared peptides or proteins, enabling detailed antigen design, such as narrowing down specific areas. This document is a must-read for those who want to learn more about the selection of antibodies that can distinguish a single amino acid substitution, so please feel free to take a look. [Contents (excerpt)] - Preparation of antigens - Selection to increase specificity - Selection of antibodies *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Antibody Craftsman Case] Successful Case of Antibody Distinguishing Specific Oxidized Cys

Production of antibodies through selection "in vitro" without animal immunity and verification of the specificity of the obtained antibodies.

Among the three Cys residues present in the DJ-1 protein, which is said to be involved in Parkinson's disease, we attempted to obtain antibodies that specifically recognize only the oxidized DJ-1 with the 106th Cys. This was done through the production of polyclonal antibodies via immunization in rabbits and monoclonal antibodies via immunization in mice, but we were unable to obtain the desired antibodies. Therefore, we used a peptide synthesized based on the surrounding sequence that includes the oxidized C106 as the antigen, and created conjugates with different carrier proteins and cross-linkers. As a result, we were able to identify clones that showed positive results for the oxidized C106 peptide and negative results for the reduced C106 peptide. [Case Summary] <Problem> ■ The methods of producing polyclonal antibodies through immunization in rabbits and monoclonal antibodies through immunization in mice did not yield the desired antibodies. <Result> ■ We were able to identify clones that showed positive results for the oxidized C106 peptide and negative results for the reduced C106 peptide. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Utilizing the features of a unique antibody production technology that does not rely on animals! An article introducing strategic selection.

The monoclonal antibody production service by Antibody Craftsman utilizes a unique antibody production technology that does not rely on animals, allowing for in vitro selection to narrow down the regions of antigens that antibodies bind to and to create antibodies that can distinguish slight differences in antigens. Here, we introduce some of the selection methods used to obtain the desired Fab antibodies. Additionally, please take a look at our achievements in antibody production. [Content Included] ■ Antibodies that identify post-translational modifications ■ Antibodies that specifically recognize homologous regions ■ Antibodies against membrane proteins ■ Antibodies that distinguish amino acid substitutions and deletions ■ Antibodies that recognize three-dimensional structures ■ Antibodies with strict specificity *For detailed content, please refer to the related links. *For detailed specifications, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Monoclonal Antibody Production Contract Service Q&A

Frequently Asked Questions Part 1: Does the phage display method for antibody production use animals?

Question: Does the phage display method for antibody production use animals? Answer: Yes, it does not. The phage display method uses E. coli and phages that infect it to produce antibodies. AbD Serotec, A Bio-Rad Company, uses phage display technology to artificially create human-like monoclonal Fab antibodies. *For more detailed information about the service, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Thanks to our unique antibody production technology, antigens can be set with high flexibility! We will introduce examples of monoclonal antibody production in our article.

This article introduces examples of monoclonal antibody production. The antibody craftsman's monoclonal antibody production service utilizes a unique antibody production technology that does not rely on animals, allowing for a high degree of flexibility in setting antigens. This enables the production of antibodies that can recognize slight differences in antigens or have specific binding sites tailored to the purpose, resulting in antibodies with special specificities that meet specific needs. HuCAL technology has over 10 years of proven results worldwide, having produced 14,000 antibodies. Its success rate over the past three years boasts over 90%, and it is adopted by many pharmaceutical companies and others. [Contents] ■ Examples of monoclonal antibody production (with work overview) ■ Other antibody production examples *Detailed content of the article can be viewed via the related links. *For detailed specifications, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Depending on the assay system, it has properties that can provide additional advantages! Introduction to the use of HuCAL antibodies.

On this homepage, we introduce the use of HuCAL antibodies. Antibodies produced using HuCAL technology (HuCAL antibodies) can be used in various applications just like antibodies produced by conventional methods. Furthermore, as they are Fab antibodies, they possess properties that can provide additional advantages in certain assay systems, such as preventing the binding of the Fc region to receptors and eliminating the need to remove the Fc region to minimize human anti-mouse antibody (HAMA) reactions. Please take a look at our homepage. 【Features】 ■ Can be used similarly to antibodies produced by conventional methods ■ Prevents the binding of the Fc region to receptors ■ No need to remove the Fc region to minimize human anti-mouse antibody reactions ■ Possesses properties that can provide additional advantages in certain assay systems ■ Tag-specific detection antibodies are very useful in many applications *For detailed information, please refer to the related links. *For detailed specifications, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
