[Construction Example] System Building Sales Office (Osaka Prefecture)

Introducing a case study of a store that used boltless corrugated panels for salt damage prevention!

We will introduce examples of "system construction" that allow for the selection of suitable roofs, walls, and structures based on the intended use, size, and regional environment of factories and warehouses, achieving short construction periods and low costs. In a sales office store located in Osaka Prefecture, boltless corrugated panels were used for the walls as a countermeasure against salt damage. After completion, a sorter for collection and delivery is placed in the center of the building, allowing for construction in a column-free space. 【Construction Example】 - Completion Date: October 2014 - Location: Osaka Prefecture - Total Floor Area: 2,991 m² (904.77 tsubo) *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Example] System Building Food Logistics Center (Saitama Prefecture)

Introducing a case study of a food logistics center that adopted system construction only for the warehouse building!

We will introduce a construction case of "system architecture" that allows for the selection of suitable roofs, walls, and structures based on the purpose and size of factories and warehouses, as well as the regional environment, achieving short construction periods and low costs. At a food logistics center in Saitama Prefecture, the structure was divided into a warehouse building and an office building using EXP.J, with only the warehouse building adopting system architecture. The exterior walls used corrugated sheets, and the warehouse entrance was equipped with an electric heavy-duty shutter and a sheet shutter measuring W=6.0m and H=5.0m. 【Construction Case】 ■ Completion Date: March 2010 (Heisei 22) ■ Location: Saitama Prefecture ■ Total Floor Area: 1,560m2 (472 tsubo) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Example] System Building Wood Precut Factory (Shizuoka Prefecture)

Adopting a truss structure to achieve a spacious large space! Case study of a wooden prefabrication factory.

We will introduce examples of "system construction" that allow for the selection of suitable roofs, walls, and structures based on the purpose, size, and regional environment of factories and warehouses, achieving short construction periods and low costs. In a wood precut factory located in Shizuoka Prefecture, a truss structure was adopted for the precut building roof framework, realizing a spacious area of (60m + 45m) with only one central column over a span of 105m in the gable direction. The steel frame features a vibrant red color for the columns and a refreshing blue color (the image color of Polatech) for the beams. Combined with the simple truss structure, it creates a bright and light image. 【Construction Example】 ■ Completion Date: January 2013 (Heisei 25) ■ Location: Shizuoka Prefecture ■ Total Floor Area: 15,227.54m2 (4,606.33 tsubo) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

System architecture: Providing spaciousness that is light and economical.

We provide an economical and high-quality large space by reducing steel weight through rational design.

With the diversification of industries, industrial buildings such as warehouses and factories frequently undergo layout changes, and there is a demand for adaptability to future changes in use. Our company has evolved the system construction introduced from the United States to realize spacious areas with flexible layouts at reasonable costs. By combining our unique Z-shaped purlins with self-supporting exterior wall materials, we can provide open spaces with fewer interior columns and posts. <Columned Space> Achieving infinite building area This space is designed to enhance productivity by placing the minimum necessary columns according to customer needs. A truss structure is adopted for the roof framework, creating an economical space. <Column-free Space> A sense of openness with a maximum span of 60 meters This is a large space that is economical and environmentally friendly, designed with a rational economic approach, without any interior columns. *For more details, please refer to the materials. Feel free to contact us with any inquiries.

What is system architecture?

Introducing in detail the features of Kawada Industries' system construction developed for Japan!

Our system construction allows for the selection of suitable roofs, walls, and structures based on the intended use and size of factories and warehouses, as well as regional environmental factors. This enables us to achieve short construction periods and low costs. Furthermore, our system buildings do not have intermediate columns. By combining wall materials (J. Wall, K. Wall) that boast self-supporting strength with Z-shaped battens that allow for overlapping joints, we have eliminated intermediate columns and reduced the weight of the steel framework, resulting in further cost reductions. Additionally, the wall materials themselves possess sufficient strength to be self-supporting, eliminating the need for temporary scaffolding, among other various features. 【Features】 ■ Roofs, walls, and structures can be selected according to use and purpose ■ Cost reduction through reduced steel framework usage ■ Adoption of roofing and wall materials with outstanding durability ■ No need for temporary scaffolding *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Large-scale wooden architecture

From Steel Frame to Timber Frame - Large-Scale Wooden Architecture Made Possible by Seismic Resistant Construction Method SE Method

Large-scale buildings enter the era of wooden construction ~Simple and rich wooden architecture that responds to diversity~ Being in a space made of wood is not only pleasant, but the importance of using wood in architecture is being reevaluated in a circular society, and the promotion of wood utilization is being encouraged. Compared to steel and reinforced concrete structures, wood is lightweight, which helps reduce construction costs and timelines. The "SE construction method" achieves excellent seismic resistance and high spatial flexibility through thoroughly quality-controlled materials and precise structural calculations. It is possible to expose columns and beams with fire-resistance design, and to create fire-resistant buildings as well. Wooden construction is particularly suitable for large and medium-sized buildings. Leveraging nearly 20 years of experience with the wooden frame construction method developed through the SE construction method, we will unlock new possibilities for wooden architecture.
