After the implementation of the improvement measures, we have received feedback that there are no longer any rat holes at all!

This is a case inquiry from a user who has already installed a Brodisk. Although they purchased and installed the Brodisk as a measure against rat holes, they consulted us because they observed that the rat holes had not been resolved upon visual inspection of the inside of the hopper during maintenance. As a countermeasure, we advised them to increase the number of Brodisk installations, reconsider the placement, use a controller with four solenoid valves, and review the air piping (such as tube diameter conditions), which they implemented. After implementing this improvement plan, the user reported that there were no rat holes at all. We have been evaluated as having resolved the issue of clogging, and you have adopted our equipment.

This is a case adopted by a business primarily engaged in the molding of resin products. When introducing a new hopper, the mixing ratio of crushed material and virgin material was changed, which led to the occurrence of bridging that had not happened with this material before. They contacted us expressing a desire to try the BroaDisk. After receiving information about the hopper and materials, we promptly decided to send a demo unit. This is an inquiry made through a trading company regarding an issue at an existing plant. A single round silo is divided into two sections by an internal partition, and this equipment was introduced to improve the discharge issues occurring on the fly ash side of one half. The plant originally had aeration nozzles installed, but since that was not effective, this equipment was adopted. To improve the rat hole phenomenon! One standard Brody disk has been installed on each side.

We received a consultation regarding the existing feed hopper experiencing the rat hole phenomenon, and that "the air knocker only slightly collapses around the rat hole and cannot resolve this issue." By installing one Brody disk standard type on each side, we easily cleared this trouble. In this case, the controller, which incorporates four solenoid valves, activates each Brody disk with a time delay. We would like to introduce a case where this equipment was implemented to address bridging issues in a dust collector hopper for local exhaust ventilation. The dust being collected contains carbon, and there is a period when the original material is left outdoors in a bulk bag, which particularly absorbs moisture during rainy weather, leading to bridging. The bridging situation occurs right above the discharge device (rotary valve), where we installed four units, one on each side in this area. We received contact from a customer using other bridge breakers as a countermeasure for the lime silo bridge. After starting operation, the rubber disk-type aerator in use was damaged within a short period, and even after replacement, it failed again in a similar short time. Therefore, the customer consulted us about wanting to use our blow disk. The material used for the elastic disk of the blow disk is a very special silicone rubber, which is significantly more durable compared to general silicone. Additionally, the thickness and shape of the disk have been determined with durability in mind. Here is a case study of a major chemical company that adopted our solution. Despite the hopper's apex angle being approximately 30° (with an inclination of about 75° from the horizontal plane), they consulted us due to difficulties in discharge. Using a hopper that the customer had (not an actual machine), we conducted tests with our loaned equipment, and after subsequent discussions, they adopted our BroaDisk.
