We will introduce examples that respond to requests such as applying copper plating to the surface and internal flow paths.
I would like to introduce a case where an associate professor from a national research institute conducting research on electromagnetic waves consulted about the need for a waveguide to accurately and evenly transmit fine electromagnetic waves.
In response to requests such as "I want to apply copper plating to the surface and internal flow path," we changed the material to aluminum and implemented electroless nickel plating and electroless copper plating.
As a result, the primary goal of successfully applying copper plating to the interior was achieved, which will advance the research, and we will challenge ourselves to change the metal material and shape for the next iteration.
【Case Overview (Partial)】
■ Issue
- A waveguide (a metal pipe that transmits electromagnetic waves) is needed to accurately and evenly transmit fine electromagnetic waves.
■ Requests
- I want to change the material to high heat-resistant stainless steel.
- I would like the size to be smaller.
- I want to apply copper plating to the surface and internal flow path.
