The Importance of Oil During Disasters: Oil Shortage in the Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11

Oil is the last bastion! An explanation of the importance of oil during disasters.

Shipping restrictions from the primary oil manufacturers. Due to the disaster along the Tohoku coast, we were unable to secure tankers in the Kanto region at the request of the primary oil manufacturers. There is a shortage of petroleum products such as gasoline and kerosene, affecting not only the disaster-stricken areas but also causing great confusion in the Kanto region. Oil has been reaffirmed as "the most important energy source for future recovery and reconstruction efforts." [Overview] - It is necessary to prepare tankers and drums for the delivery of petroleum products during normal times as fuel for emergency generators. - Considering emergencies, it is necessary to store small quantities of oil fuel during normal times. - Large-scale oil tanks are mostly located along the coast, which poses a high disaster risk; therefore, storing fuel inland is safer. *For more details, please feel free to contact us.

3.11 Activities and Achievements during the Great East Japan Earthquake

3.11 Introduction of our company's activities during the Great East Japan Earthquake and future challenges.

Our company conducted support activities for the reconstruction of Iwate Prefecture for about three months starting from March 23, at the request of the Cabinet Office immediately after the Great East Japan Earthquake. We provided assistance in the delivery of kerosene, light oil, and heavy oil to coastal municipalities in Iwate Prefecture, as well as fuel delivery support for large corporations, including kerosene, light oil, heavy oil, and gasoline, along with other reconstruction support activities. We received a letter of appreciation for our support, and the local community expressed their deep gratitude. **[Realization of the Necessity for BCP Measures]** - Oil has been reaffirmed as the most important energy source for future recovery and reconstruction. - It is necessary to maintain tank trucks and drums for the delivery of petroleum products during normal times to be used as fuel for emergency generators. - Considering emergencies, it is essential to store small amounts of petroleum fuel from normal times. - Large-scale oil tanks are often located in coastal areas, which have high disaster risks, making inland storage safer. *For more details, please feel free to contact us.*

BCP measures activities during the Kumamoto earthquake in 2016.

In the Kumamoto earthquake of 2016, we provided fuel supply and delivered relief supplies.

Our company dispatched disaster response staff to the site on the 16th at the request of Kumamoto Prefecture. We delivered fuel to designated public institutions, major telecommunications carriers, and major broadcasting stations in Kumamoto City using our own tank trucks, and continued our activities thereafter. Furthermore, on the 20th, we received a request for cooperation regarding fuel supply from Kumamoto Prefecture and Kyushu Electric Power. Starting from midnight on the same day, we provided fuel for generator trucks based in Aso City, Kumamoto Prefecture, and continued our work until power was restored. We received words of gratitude from Kyushu Electric Power, stating, "We hope to continue relying on Shuwa's mobility for fuel supply," and we were awarded a letter of appreciation dated June 13. 【Overview】 ■ Number of dispatched personnel (total): 26 ■ Small tank trucks: 22 ■ Large tank trucks: 2 ■ Kerosene: 43,000L ■ Light oil: 102,220L ■ Heavy oil: 1,277L ■ Gasoline: 2,500L *For more details, please feel free to contact us.

Information on the "Shochu Distillation Waste Liquid Treatment Process"

A processing process that thoroughly recovers and utilizes fuel and energy.

The Anabuki Group, in collaboration with Miyazaki University, has developed a "shochu distillation wastewater treatment process" through the integrated production of biofuels involving re-fermentation, distillation, and solid-liquid separation. We aim to comprehensively process the biomass discharged during the shochu manufacturing process, thoroughly recover it as fuel and energy, and utilize it. [Objective] ■ Shochu manufacturing plant ↓ Distillation ■ Shochu distillation wastewater ↓ Treatment ■ Carbon-free energy fuel *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Eco artificial firewood made from compressed wood shavings *Samples available.

Eco artificial firewood "Briquette" born from sawdust. Achieves low moisture content, high combustion temperature, and long burning time as an alternative fuel to firewood!

Manufactured by compressing only the 'sawdust' generated during the production of flooring materials in our own workshop. Compared to firewood, it has a lower moisture content, higher combustion temperature, and longer burning time, and can be easily split. ~ Performance of the briquette manufacturing machine and the innovation of the products it produces ~ Elements we pursued: - It is necessary to compact the material under high pressure to reduce volume, lower transportation and storage costs, and prevent pest infestations. - The ability to produce continuously and in a short time. - The ability to maintain a consistent shape considering packaging, transportation, and sales management. - The machine itself should be compact. 【Manufacturing Equipment】 Italian briquette manufacturing machine OL.D201M ☆ Performance ☆ ■ By compacting at 200 bar (atmospheric pressure), the specific gravity of our completed briquettes is 1.2, which is significantly heavier compared to briquettes made with Japanese and Chinese machines, which have a specific gravity of 0.6 to 0.8. ■ Continuous production capacity of 70 to 90 kg. *For combustion test data and details, please download the PDF and take a look.*

Super Emulsion Fuel

By using the three-phase emulsification method, the soot in exhaust gas can be reduced, and the generation of NO2 is also decreased!

Our company is engaged in the development and manufacturing of super-emulsion fuels. The preparation of emulsion fuels using a three-phase emulsification method is possible regardless of the type of oil. Both O/W (oil-in-water) and W/O (water-in-oil) types of emulsions can be created, and in cases where fuel oils do not mix directly, they can be prepared in advance as O/W type and then mixed in any desired ratio. 【Emulsifiable Oil Types】 ■ Asphalt, coal tar, heavy oil residues, C-heavy oil, A-heavy oil, light oil, kerosene, gasoline, industrial waste oil (chemical tar) *Some types of waste oil may not be suitable Waste cooking oil, wood tar, BDF, jatropha oil, waste glycerin, Emulsion fuel dispersed with charcoal fine particles, etc. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Inac Corporation

Waste management industry

Waste Management Industry With over 10 years of experience, we are now refining and producing high-purity biodiesel fuel "ReESEL" from waste cooking oil collected from 9 municipalities in the Ina Valley (approximately 190,000 people) using the latest equipment (refining → distillation → electrostatic impurity removal) for our own consumption. This time, we will expand the sale of blended fuel with light oil, focusing on the local area. The blended fuel becomes carbon neutral only for the portion containing "ReESEL," contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions compared to using 100% light oil. Where there is a commitment to the environment, "oil fields" are born. To pass on a beautiful environment to our children and grandchildren, each of us can do our part. Let's recycle waste cooking oil as a circular loop. Business Items Biodiesel - A light oil alternative fuel with an ester component purity of 99.9% - A light oil alternative fuel with enhanced reliability through proper additive adjustments.
