017【Our Technical Capabilities】2024/10/11 ~Successful Case of Machining 500 Sets~ We are Nitto Kousakusho Co., Ltd., engaged in precision machining in Hirakata City, Osaka Prefecture. This time, we would like to introduce a machining case involving 500 sets. (This time, we carried out the entire process from material procurement to surface treatment.) The machining this time involved a repeat production of 500 sets, utilizing our long-cultivated know-how in jig manufacturing to independently design and produce machining jigs. We implemented efficient and precise machining using NC lathes and machining centers. In particular, the machining jigs we produced this time maintained machining accuracy while achieving increased work efficiency and cost reduction. As a result, we significantly improved productivity and were able to provide high-quality components. Furthermore, we offered significant benefits in terms of cost to our client and successfully completed the delivery. When performing turning or milling operations, traces of the cutting tool may remain on the workpiece, and due to the effects of distortion or deflection during processing, there may be some deviation from the ideal shape. Geometric tolerances are used to indicate how much deviation from the ideal shape is acceptable. By understanding geometric tolerances, one can discern the designer's intentions behind the drawings. This also makes it clearer how to proceed with processing and inspection, including what to use as a reference and how to conduct the operations. This document explains "parallelism," a type of geometric tolerance. It will cover not only the definition but also when it is used and the measurement methods associated with it.

SS400 Jig Parts Machining

Cutting processing of SS400 material using wire cutting and machining!

Usage: Automotive jig parts Material: SS400 Processing method: Wire cutting, machining center (Robodrill) Material dimensions: 12×122×179 [Processing details] This product is a part used in automotive jigs. It is a finished product that has been additionally processed with wire cutting and a FANUC Robodrill. Since two pieces are required, the material measuring 179mm in height, 122mm in length, and 12mm in thickness is divided into two using wire cutting to reduce material costs. After that, drilling is performed using a machining center. The combination of wire cutting and Robodrill allows for a reduction in required time. Burrs generated during processing are handled manually, and measurements are taken by someone other than the processor to improve work distribution and quality.
