Are you aware of the ban on the export, import, and manufacture of mercury lamps?
Export, import, and manufacturing of mercury lamps are prohibited! This is a notice for all users.
We would like to inform you about the regulations regarding mercury lamps in relation to the "Minamata Convention on Mercury." The "Minamata Convention," which was signed and adopted in October 2013 and came into effect in August 2017, aims to prevent mercury pollution. For high-pressure mercury lamps used for general lighting, manufacturing, importing, and exporting will be prohibited from 2021 onwards, regardless of the mercury content. [Regarding the timely disposal of products containing polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and PCB waste] ■ PCB waste must be disposed of by the specified deadline. ■ High-concentration PCB waste will effectively become impossible to dispose of after the disposal period has passed. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
