The "8-OHdG Check ELISA" is an ELISA kit that uses a monoclonal antibody (N45.1) specific to 8-hydroxy-2'-deoxyguanosine. It allows for easy and sensitive measurement of 8-OHdG in urine, serum, and tissue DNA. It reacts very little with the RNA oxidant 8-hydroxy-guanosine (8-OHG) and is characterized by its ability to specifically detect the DNA oxidant (8-OHdG).
