[Case Analysis] Hepatocytes (Pig Liver)

Insert photo ×7,000 Analysis of the cell membrane (×100,000)! It can be seen that the cell membrane has a double structure approximately 7nm wide.

We would like to introduce a case study of the analysis of 'hepatocytes (pig liver)' conducted by our company. The liver has many functions, including lipid and protein synthesis, metabolism and removal of drugs, and energy storage, most of which are composed of hepatocytes. There are also other components such as bile canaliculi (BC) and blood vessels (HS), within which blood cells (EC, Kf) can be observed. The inserted photo shows an enlargement of the cell membranes of adjacent cells, revealing that each cell membrane has a double structure approximately 7nm wide. Additionally, hepatocytes possess typical organelles that are often referenced when explaining the structure and function of general cells. [Analysis Overview] ■ Analysis Subject: Hepatocytes (pig liver) ■ It is evident that each cell membrane has a double structure approximately 7nm wide. ■ Hepatocytes have typical organelles that are frequently cited when explaining the structure and function of general cells. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Electronic focus head-mounted fluorescence microscope

One method to observe neuronal activity under free behavior is the head-mounted fluorescence microscope.

One method to observe neuronal activity under free movement is the head-mounted fluorescence microscope. The main body of the fluorescence microscope weighs only 3 grams and is equipped with a CMOS sensor, an electronic focus mechanism (with a depth of focus of 0-300μm), and filters. An imaging cannula (GRIN lens) is inserted into the animal's head, capturing images at the lens tip with the CMOS sensor. The microscope body and the imaging cannula (GRIN lens) are securely and easily fixed with screws, and no special fixtures are required for fixation. Four types of imaging cannulas are available, depending on the depth of the target to be observed and the diameter of the GRIN lens. By using an imaging cannula equipped with a prism at the tip, it is also possible to observe sagittal or coronal sections.

Multi-Focus Raman Microscope Phalanx-R

Raman imaging captures the state of chemical reactions and the distribution of molecules inside cells in an "instant," like taking a photograph.

The multi-focal Raman microscope Phalanx-R is the world's first Raman microscope that can capture 2D Raman images "in an instant," just like taking a photograph. It enables real-time imaging of dynamic chemical reactions, which was previously impossible, and allows for high-speed observation of molecular distribution and changes within cells while minimizing light damage to the samples.

3D Cell Explorer Holographic Microscope for Cell Observation

An innovative cell observation method that overturns conventional wisdom: label-free 2D, 3D, and 4D imaging.

In general bioimaging, 3D images are obtained by continuously measuring 2D images in the depth direction. However, this product, the "Holographic Microscope for Cell Observation 3D Cell Explorer," utilizes holography and tomography technologies to measure the differences in refraction within cells in three dimensions with a single measurement, producing high-resolution digital images on the nanometer scale that exceed the diffraction limit of light almost instantaneously. High-resolution images can be captured in just a few seconds, and by digitally staining them, it allows for comprehensive observation of the cell interior from various perspectives. The laser light used is a weak laser that does not impact the cells, enabling non-invasive measurements to observe the cells in their natural state. Once powered on, it starts up immediately, and measurements can begin right away. Sample preparation, staining labels using expensive reagents, and the configuration of the optical system are all performed automatically, eliminating the need for complex adjustments. Additionally, user-friendly software is provided, allowing for intuitive operation despite its high functionality, making it easy to use.
