Particles (droplets) formed by the ultrasonic spray nozzle are broken up by the vibrations of the piezo element. In other words, unlike pressurized systems, the particles do not have speed. As a result, they either fall naturally or float due to the influence of the wind. Therefore, carrier air is used to transport the formed particles for application.

This is a new product for microplate washing with an 8-channel nozzle that improves the shortcomings of the previously difficult-to-use ImmunoWash8. It features a grip design for easy handling, and liquid stopping is a one-touch operation with just a push of the thumb. It allows for the delivery of washing solution to the plate using only gravity from a height of 30 cm. We offer two types: one for high flow using gravity (a competitor to ImmunoWash8) and another for high-speed using a pump. The gravity discharge Immuno Nozzle 8Z can accommodate pipette tips, eliminating concerns about contamination. It provides fast liquid discharge even with a height difference of 30 cm. The high-speed nozzle is made of PEEK and has an outer diameter of 1.6 mm, making it ideal for cleaning difficult-to-wash magnetic beads. Using an optional pump and valve bottle set makes microplate washing even easier. It is highly recommended for the cleaning of complex and precision-demanding ELISA reactions. Each of the 8-channel nozzles is removable and can be swapped with plugs to accommodate 24-well plates, 6-well plates (4-channel, 2-channel), and other plates. Additionally, all parts are screw-type and can be easily detached, making nozzle cleaning simple. Measures against clogging are also thoroughly addressed.

Ultrasonic waves generated by piezoelectric ceramics are transmitted to the spray nozzle (atomizer), where they vibrate the liquid film to create extremely fine particles for spraying.
