This is a long-slit type air knife developed for water cutting of large glass substrates used in flat panel displays such as LCDs and PDPs. The air nozzle body is designed based on fluid dynamics, allowing it to inject a strong air curtain uniformly with low pressure loss and low air volume, unlike conventional methods that simply apply resistance to align the air (patent obtained). This product was developed for drying glass substrates after pure water washing of LCDs, PDPs, organic ELs, etc. The air, which is injected from a slit with a maximum length of 2200mm and a slit width of 0.2mm, is uniformly sprayed in a linear fashion onto the workpiece, allowing for complete drying.
