Silicoroy special nut seizure test (high-temperature oxidation test)
Special nuts were fastened to bolts of each material (M17×40, pitch 1.0)! A comparison of each material was conducted.
To compare practical seizure phenomena, we conducted seizure tests using special nuts. The special nuts are designed to prevent loosening and utilize the internal spring action (SUS301) to strongly compress the threads of the bolt, generating friction torque that prevents free rotation. Typically, they are used with lubricants, but this time we applied them without lubrication to conduct seizure tests and compare various materials.
