This is a vacuum pad suitable for removal from injection molding machines. Schmalz has developed a markless rubber that does not contain silicone, a paint-inhibiting substance. The SAB series vacuum pads for thin steel plates are optimal 1.5-stage bellows vacuum pads for the suction and transport of thin steel plates with an oil film. The pads, made from highly oil-resistant nitrile rubber, feature grooves on the suction surface to allow oil to escape, enabling strong suction on workpieces with an oil film and facilitating rapid transport. The pads are available in sizes ranging from a minimum of Φ22mm to a maximum of Φ125mm. You can choose the appropriate pad for your workpiece from three materials: general-purpose nitrile rubber (NBR-60), markless rubber that leaves minimal suction marks (HT1), and high-temperature durable rubber that is both markless and excellent in high-temperature resistance (HT2/Φ22mm to Φ80mm).

You can choose the appropriate pad for your workpiece from three materials: general-purpose nitrile rubber (NBR-60), slightly softer nitrile rubber (NBR-45), and a special markless rubber (HT2) that excels in high-temperature resistance suitable for hot forging, available in sizes from 23x60mm to 50x100mm.

The HT2 series vacuum pads are suction pads made from high-temperature resistant rubber. They were developed as pads for transporting thin steel sheets at high temperatures in processes such as hot forming and hot forging. They can adhere to workpieces at 350°C for short periods and 200°C for longer periods. In addition to being able to replace mechanical clamps, they are made from a markless material that helps prevent suction marks from appearing after painting. The HT2 pads are designed in the same shape as our SA series, which is suitable for transporting thin steel sheets. The unique design of the suction surface in the SA series prevents deformation of the workpieces and allows for high-speed transport, resulting in many successful applications.
