Reagent '(Boc)2O'

We will finely crush it and serve it in a "wide-mouth cylindrical bottle"!

We provide '(Boc)2O', which is difficult to handle due to issues such as "melting during work at a melting point of 20-24°C" and "solidifying in the container making it impossible to take out," in a powdered form that is easy to measure. Fine adjustments to the weight can also be easily made. Please feel free to contact us. 【Features】 ■ Wide mouth for easy scooping with a spoon, making weighing very easy ■ The fine particles melt quickly, making it suitable for those who need to dissolve it for use *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Chemical synthesis: Contract synthesis of short-chain peptides

Contract synthesis of short peptides! Also compatible with the synthesis of peptides with protecting groups.

We actively conduct contract synthesis of short-chain peptides (2 to 5 amino acids). We have numerous synthesis achievements of over 10g. We offer catalog sales for relatively simple structures such as dipeptides and tripeptides. Additionally, we can accommodate large-scale synthesis of short-chain peptides, which is difficult to handle with solid-phase synthesis, through liquid-phase synthesis. 【Lineup (excerpt)】 ■ Fluorescently labeled peptides ■ Enzyme substrate peptides ■ Functional short-chain peptides ■ Imidazole dipeptides *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Peptide synthesis-related reagents

We offer a lineup that includes "condensing agents," "condensing additives," and "deprotection reagents"!

We would like to introduce our "peptide synthesis-related reagents." Starting with "coupling agents" such as carbodiimides and uronium, we also offer "deprotection reagents" like acidic/basic organic solvents. In addition, we have a variety of other reagents available. For more details, please download and view the related catalog. 【Product Lineup (Partial)】 ■ Coupling Agents - Carbodiimides, uronium, phosphonium phosphates, and others ■ Coupling Additives - Coupling accelerators, racemization suppressants, active ester formation reagents ■ Deprotection Reagents - Acidic/basic organic solvents, additives *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

[Data] Light-responsive diazirine amino acids

Useful in experiments involving biomolecules! Absorbs relatively long-wavelength ultraviolet light and generates carbenes.

This document introduces "photo-reactive diazirine amino acids." Diazirine absorbs relatively long-wavelength ultraviolet light around 350 nm, generating carbenes that insert into nearby C-H and N-H bonds, forming stable covalent bonds. Since this covalent bond formation occurs only at adjacent sites, there is no non-specific covalent bond formation. For more details, please refer to the related catalog, and we encourage you to read it. [Contents] ■ Photoaffinity labeling method ■ Photo-reactive base diazirine ■ Related products * For more information, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Watanabe Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. Company Profile

Everything is for our customers! We strive for usability from the perspective of researchers.

Founded in 1845 as Watanabe Jurodo, our company started as a drug wholesaler. After changing our name to Watanabe Chemical Industries, we transitioned from manufacturing and selling general industrial chemicals and food additives to specializing in the production and sale of amino acid and peptide synthesis reagents. As the third category of pharmaceuticals following low molecular weight drugs and antibody drugs, medium molecular weight drugs are gaining attention, particularly peptide drugs, especially cyclic peptides, which are attracting significant expectations and interest. In light of these developments, our company offers approximately 3,000 peptide synthesis reagents, primarily focusing on Fmoc amino acids and Boc amino acids, and we are committed to supporting your drug discovery research. 【Business Activities】 ■ Manufacturing and sales of peptide synthesis reagents and amino acid derivatives *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Dipeptide drinker "ADC LINKER"

Useful for research on antibody-drug conjugates! It is possible to selectively deliver drugs to target cells.

"ADC LINKER" is a dipeptide linker used as a component of antibody-drug conjugates. When it binds to and is taken up by cells expressing the antigen recognized by the antibody, hydrolysis occurs between Cit-pAB by cathepsin B inside the cell. The drug that is bound is then released. As a result, it allows for selective action of the drug on the target cells. Please feel free to contact us if you have any inquiries. 【Features】 ■ Useful for research on antibody-drug conjugates ■ When it binds to and is taken up by cells expressing the antigen recognized by the antibody, hydrolysis occurs between Cit-pAB by cathepsin B inside the cell ■ The drug that is bound is released *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Trapping reagent

We manufacture and sell four types of trapping reagents that can be used for pharmacokinetic studies and toxicity studies.

These trapping reagents can be used for the detection and analysis of reactive metabolites that may arise during the metabolic processes of drug candidate compounds. ◆R00846 CysGlu-Dan Traditionally, Dansyl-GSH (dGSH) has been used in trapping tests for electrophilic reactive metabolites generated by CYP oxidation; however, Dansyl-GSH was unable to detect "hard" electrophilic reactive metabolites such as aldehydes. CysGlu-Dan, like Dansyl-GSH, can react with "soft" electrophilic reactive metabolites such as quinones and epoxides, as well as with "hard" electrophilic reactive metabolites, allowing for the sensitive detection of a broader range of reactive metabolites. ◆R00845 Dap-Dan This reagent can trap and detect reactive 1-O-acyl glucuronides generated during the glucuronidation process, as well as aldehydes produced through rearrangement. ◆R00847 Cys-Dan This reagent can trap and detect reactive acyl-CoA generated during the metabolic processes of fatty acids. These trapping reagents were developed by a group led by Professor Tomoyuki Oe at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Keio University.
