The painting hand spray gun assembly process at Meiji Machinery Manufacturing Co., which introduced robots this time, was previously a completely manual process performed by skilled workers. Since the spray gun body is made of aluminum die-cast, the precision of hole positions and other aspects is low, requiring a lot of manual adjustments during assembly, leading to variations in quality and work time, low productivity, and the long-standing challenge of securing skilled workers. [Case Study] Feasibility Study on the Introduction of Robots in Hotel Reception Operations

Conducted FS projects and examined the feasibility of realizing automation! Examples of evaluations such as investment effectiveness.

We would like to introduce a case study on the implementation feasibility study (FS) of robots conducted at the Mizuguchi Century Hotel. In this FS project, we examined the possibility of humanoid robots handling hotel front desk operations such as reservation confirmation and guidance. First, we conducted a business analysis related to front desk services, summarized the functional requirements that the robots should possess, and then explored the scope of robotization and evaluated the return on investment. As a result of the verification, we found that the feasibility of the robots is sufficient, and they are particularly effective for improving operational efficiency.
