Biomass-based biodegradable resin with antibacterial and antiviral properties.

The raw material is non-edible biomass cellulose! Here is an introduction to the biomass-based biodegradable resin developed by our company.

Our company has developed a biomass-based biodegradable resin with antibacterial and antiviral properties to replace the materials used in general resin products. Many biodegradable resins are made from petroleum or edible biomass resources such as corn, sugarcane, grains, and tubers, raising concerns about competition with human food. However, our biodegradable resin material is made from cellulose, a non-edible biomass, making it a preferable material from the perspective of raw materials. We have devised ways to impart antibacterial and antiviral properties to such materials. [Features] - Replaces the materials used in general resin products with biomass-based biodegradable resins - Possesses antibacterial and antiviral properties - Made from cellulose, a non-edible biomass *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Non-edible biomass-derived cellulose-based biodegradable resin

Highly considerate of both the environment and the economy! Developing biodegradable cellulose-based resins with minimal complex chemical reactions.

There is research and development attempting to create cellulose-based resins by breaking down cellulose with acids or enzymes and converting it into sugars. However, due to the labor-intensive processes involved in the decomposition and pre-treatment stages, there are issues with production costs for practical application. From this perspective, our company is developing biodegradable cellulose-based resins while minimizing complex chemical reactions. As a result, the cost becomes lower during mass production, making it a biodegradable resin material that is considerate of both the environment and the economy. Furthermore, our company already has technology for compounding cellulose nanofibers, which are also plant-derived, with resins. By applying this technology to the material, we can also create a composite material of biodegradable cellulose-based resin and cellulose nanofibers. 【Features】 ■ Minimize complex chemical reactions ■ Lower costs during mass production ■ Highly considerate of both the environment and the economy ■ Composite material of biodegradable cellulose-based resin and cellulose nanofibers is also available ・Improvement in mechanical strength confirmed through cellulose nanofiber compounding *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Lithium-sulfur battery

All electrode materials and electrolytes are synthesized and optimized in-house! We also aim to manufacture and commercialize lithium-sulfur batteries.

In modern society, lithium-ion batteries are representative energy storage devices, used in various applications including electric vehicles, hybrid cars, smartphones, and computers. However, initially, while secondary batteries with capacities significantly exceeding those of oxide positive electrodes can be developed, they generally exhibit poor cycle characteristics and degradation, which remains a challenge. From this perspective, our company is also advancing research and development on lithium-sulfur batteries, and as a result of trial and error, we are developing lithium-sulfur batteries that show an initial discharge capacity of 1200mAh/g and approximately 500mAh/g after 130 cycles. We will continue our research and development, including the synthesis of other materials, optimization of nanoscale structures at interfaces, and aim for further improvements in battery capacity. 【Features】 - The positive electrode uses a composite material of sulfur and carbon, the negative electrode material is lithium metal, and the electrolyte is optimized for a composition suitable for lithium-sulfur batteries. - All electrode materials and electrolytes are synthesized and optimized in-house by our company. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
