Coating agent made from 100% natural biomass-based biodegradable resin components.

Introducing a biodegradable coating agent based on natural thermosetting resins.

In recent years, the problem of environmental destruction caused by plastic waste has become increasingly serious. The issue of microplastics, not only limited to land plastic pollution but also present in the oceans, is reaching a catastrophic level that is destroying ecosystems globally. In response to such issues, biodegradable plastics and biodegradable resin materials are in demand. While there are biodegradable thermoplastic resins, we have developed a biodegradable coating agent based on natural thermosetting resins. There are grades made entirely from 100% natural-derived components, and below are the basic resin property data. We aim to further improve hardness in the future and plan to measure other resin property data as well. 【Data Overview】 ■Resin: 10-50% ■Additive: 0.1-10% ■Solvent: 50-90% ■Viscosity: 50-300 cps/25℃ ■Pencil Hardness: 6B *If you would like a paid sample, please contact us. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Electrode materials for lithium-ion batteries: Lithium-rich positive electrode materials

Continuing research and development to improve battery capacity, aiming for practical application! Here is an introduction to lithium excess type positive electrode materials.

We synthesized a lithium-rich positive electrode material with a certain chemical composition and also created a coating electrode ink using this positive electrode material. This ink was applied to an aluminum current collector to be used as an electrode, and a test lithium-ion battery was created using lithium metal as the counter electrode. A standard carbonate-based electrolyte was used, and the electrochemical characteristics were measured using conventional measurement methods for lithium-ion batteries. As a result, we were able to create a lithium-ion battery with a large capacity of approximately 265 mAh/g initially under a 0.1C current measurement condition, and it maintained 215 mAh/g even after 40 cycles. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Recycling technology for waste plastics (PE・PP)

It is possible to restore the mechanical strength of plastic to the level of new resin pellets!

The "Waste Plastic Recycling Technology" can restore the mechanical strength of plastics to the level of new resin pellets, particularly by improving properties such as toughness. We have recently received a license from Fukuoka University and have installed an extruder in-house that can implement this technology. We aim to prototype and manufacture recycled resin pellets from waste plastics, offer measurement services for the mechanical strength of these materials, explore molded products, and pursue mass production commercialization using this innovative technology. Currently, the main materials successfully restoring resin properties and toughness are waste plastics of PE and PP. In the future, we plan to consider different types of waste plastics as well. Please feel free to consult us for any technical inquiries or other questions. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

What is biomass plastic? How is it different from bioplastic?

I will explain the characteristics of biomass plastics and introduce the differences between them and bioplastics, which have similar meanings.

What kind of material is biomass plastic? First, let me explain its positioning and characteristics. **Types of Bioplastics** In fact, biomass plastic is classified as one of the many types of bioplastics, which are different from marine plastics. Bioplastics can be broadly divided into two categories: "biomass plastics" and "biodegradable plastics." Biomass refers to "renewable resources," indicating resources that can be sustainably regenerated. Biomass plastic is a new type of plastic material that does not require petroleum, which was the source of traditional marine plastics, and is primarily produced from plants and other organic materials. Since the raw materials are plant-based, the renewable aspect is a significant characteristic. However, it is important to note that there are both types that are biodegradable and those that are not. **Differences Between Biomass Plastics and Biodegradable Plastics** Biomass Plastics: Derived from biological sources... Four strengths: - Functionality equivalent to petroleum-based plastics - A first step towards reducing plastic use - CO2 emission reduction effect - Low cost 【Functionality equivalent to petroleum-based plastics】 It has moldability, convenience, strength, and quality comparable to petroleum-derived plastics, providing similar functionality. 【A first step towards reducing plastic use】 With a biomass content of 40%, it reduces the use of finite petroleum-derived plastics by 25%, making it a first step towards environmental measures and reducing plastic use. 【CO2 emission reduction effect】 In Japan, waste disposal is primarily through incineration, including plastics. Incineration results in CO2 emissions, which are considered an environmental issue. The cushioning material introduced here reduces CO2 emissions during combustion by about 25% compared to plastic (PP), as verified by CERI (Chemical Evaluation and Research Institute). This is not just a theoretical concept of carbon neutrality; the actual reduction effect has been recognized. 【Low cost】 In terms of cost, it is approximately 1.5 times that of plastic (PP), making it inexpensive for bioplastics.

Biomass plastic that can reduce CO2 emissions during incineration by 30%.

Compared to PE and PP, it is possible to reduce the actual CO2 emissions during incineration by approximately 30%.

Compared to using PE and PP as fuel, it is possible to reduce actual CO2 emissions by approximately 30%. Tests were conducted by the Japan Chemical Substance Evaluation and Research Institute. Test results from tests conducted in accordance with JIS K 2541-3:2003: 2.2 g/g VASU, a Hong Kong-based company, is a materials manufacturer that has developed its own bio-based (corn starch) and biodegradable resin materials and holds patents for them. Yashima Densou, as the official domestic distributor for VASU, is a technical trading company that handles everything from resin materials to mass production delivery of molds and molded products. *Dedicated technical staff for mold design and quality assurance will provide support. ☆Environmental Standards RoHS, REACH, FDA, DIN EN 13432 (biodegradability), compliance with Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare Notification No. 370, JORA Biomass Mark The above items have been addressed or are planned to be addressed.

Injection molding dedicated biomass plastic

It can overcome the challenges of coloring, odor, and strength that have been issues with conventional injection molding-specific biomass resins. Existing molds and equipment can be used.

The material is a resin developed in-house by VASU Corporation (a Hong Kong capital enterprise) from biomass sources (corn starch), for which it holds a patent. Yashima Densou serves as the official domestic agent for VASU Corporation, acting as a technical trading company that handles everything from resin materials to mass production delivery of molds and molded products. *Dedicated technical staff for mold design and quality assurance will provide support. Currently, in Japan, much of the biomass resin is often used for flexible packaging and bottles, and there are challenges such as coloring, odor, and strength with biomass resins for injection molding. However, the characteristics of VASU's injection resin include high moldability (ease of molding), coloring performance, strength, price, and a reduction in CO2 emissions during combustion based on actual measurements, which can address the current challenges. ☆Environmental Standards RoHS, REACH, FDA, DIN EN 13432 (biodegradable), compliance with Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare Notification No. 370, JORA Biomass Mark The above items have been addressed or are planned to be addressed.
