The adoption of the Fine Coat maintenance system has been confirmed for the vehicles under the jurisdiction of JR East Sendai Branch (E721 series). During an evaluation period of approximately six months, it was observed that while the conventional wax could not maintain the paint film for more than a month, Fine Coat demonstrated no deterioration even after six months, maintaining its gloss, dirt resistance, and anti-slip effects. Starch is widely used industrially in paper, cardboard, mortar, adhesives, and more. The biomass composite material that combines this industrial starch with 10-60% PP or PE is the "NEOPLA S Series." By changing the composition of the blend, it can be adjusted to a wide range from hard to soft materials, and it also has excellent colorability, with grades available that are compatible with various molding processes such as inflation molding, extrusion molding, blow molding, and injection molding. The injection molding grade with 55% starch has an MFR of over 20g/10min, making it excellent in moldability, and it is possible to obtain molded products with over 51% starch even when colored with MB.
