By adopting size exclusion chromatography and highly sensitive fluorescence detection, accurate and reproducible measurements can be achieved with a small amount of sample!

We introduce a rapid and cost-effective method for measuring the titer of adeno-associated virus (AAV) products after downstream processing, combining size exclusion chromatography (SEC) with a highly sensitive fluorescence detector. By using the Thermo Scientific MAbPac SEC-1 column, efficient separation of AAV capsids and low molecular weight impurities is achieved, allowing for detailed monitoring of product quality attributes (PQA). Moreover, those with more double bonds are retained more strongly. ■ Separation of compounds with multiple double bonds Non-conjugated double bonds are retained more strongly than conjugated double bonds.
