Uniform diffused lighting minimizes shadows and reflections, making scratches and dirt easier to see. ■ Image Preprocessing Noise reduction and contrast adjustment are performed to facilitate the detection of abnormal areas. ■ Feature Extraction and Anomaly Detection Machine learning models and image processing algorithms are used to identify patterns of scratches and dirt. We would like to introduce a case where Nagoya Seiko Co., Ltd. manufactured an "inspection stand." We were visually inspecting several hundred thousand products per month, divided into two categories, but faced challenges such as labor shortages and variations in quality. This prompted us to develop an image inspection machine to streamline processes and stabilize inspection quality.
