"LIMIM" is a technology that produces molded parts using injection molding techniques from a material made by kneading metal fine powder and a resin-based binder. Next, the binder component is removed from the molded part, and the remaining metal fine powder component is sintered to manufacture precision metal parts (silver bodies). It enables mass production of three-dimensional complex-shaped parts that are difficult to manufacture using cutting, forging, die casting, casting, or press sintering. It addresses secondary processing issues such as hole machining and the integration of composite parts, providing the final shape that users require.
