This document introduces pyrolysis GC-MS analysis. Adhesives are used in various manufacturing processes, and their types vary widely depending on the materials being bonded, the environment, and the intended purpose. On the other hand, specific issues related to adhesives, such as poor adhesion, insufficient curing, and bleeding, can also be observed. Component analysis is effective for solving these problems, but when the amount used is small, the simplest IR analysis may not yield results. Py-GC-MS can provide useful information for identifying causes even with minute samples as small as the tip of a needle. For more details, please refer to the document.
