Contact spring, torsion spring, phosphor bronze wire, C5191W Φ0.8

"Phosphor bronze wire" is a material that has excellent corrosion resistance and also good solderability.

This is a contact spring for electronic components. It uses a high electrical conductivity copper alloy "phosphor bronze wire - C5191W." "Phosphor bronze wire" is widely used as a material for springs in electronic devices and information communication equipment due to its excellent corrosion resistance and good solderability. Compared to other spring materials like piano wire, the softer and more workable "phosphor bronze wire" increases in hardness and exhibits "springiness" when heat-treated. (This is referred to as low-temperature annealing hardening.) This contact spring is also heat-treated after forming and has a "gold plating" surface treatment. In addition to "phosphor bronze wire," other materials used for contact springs include "spring stainless steel wire - SUS304-WPB" and "nickel-plated steel wire - SWIC-F."
