This time, we would like to introduce a case where the "Cutting Chip Coolant Device" was implemented. ○ User Automotive transmission manufacturing company ○ Problem We want to eliminate the regular cleaning of the coolant tank used for gear shaving processing. The chips generated during shaving processing are often saw-shaped or sharp-edged, which can be painful when they stick to the skin during cleaning. In addition to recovering accumulated sludge from cutting fluid and cleaning fluid tanks, floating sludge can also be collected without using bag filters.

The FD-1 type sludge cleaner not only recovers tank sediment sludge but also collects floating sludge without using a bag filter in the filtration element. In the bag filter type, sludge collection begins in the bag, and as sludge gradually accumulates in the bag, the sludge suction capacity decreases proportionally, which can lead to clogging in the suction hose and result in an inability to suction. The FD-1 type maintains its initial suction capacity regardless of the amount of sludge accumulated in the sludge recovery bucket, ensuring that there is no clogging in the suction hose. In general, the wire mesh basket type has an overflow at the top of the basket to maintain this initial suction capacity, which makes it impossible to recover floating sludge. Even if floating sludge is suctioned, it escapes from the top of the wire mesh basket, preventing sludge from being collected in the basket. The FD-1 type enables the recovery of floating sludge without allowing this overflow.
