Stable production of granules around 50μm in a single process! We can handle cyclodextrin encapsulation.
"Spray drying" is a technology that instantly dries a liquid by spraying it in a drying chamber to create fine droplets, utilizing the surface tension of water to produce spherical, highly flowable granules.
In a spray dryer, slurry is directly pumped into the drying chamber and atomized, allowing for the stable production of granules with an average size of around 50μm in a single process. This method stabilizes moisture, particle size, and bulk density, while also reducing dust generation.
Additionally, it is possible to microencapsulate liquids using the inclusion effect of cyclodextrin, turning them into powder.
[Features]
- Spherical and highly flowable, making handling easy and reducing dust generation.
- Short drying time allows for the drying of heat-sensitive raw materials.
- By preparing a slurry with cyclodextrin (CD) encapsulating the liquid in water and drying it with a spray dryer (SD), powder can be produced in a single process.
- Heat-sensitive liquids, such as fragrances, can retain their aromatic components through the inclusion effect of CD and the low-temperature drying of SD.
