Analysis of "PCB Analysis of Insulating Oil"

Determination of trace PCB contamination! PCB analysis of insulating oil.

Insulating oils such as those used in transformers may contain PCBs. If they contain 0.5 mg/kg or more of PCBs, they are treated as PCB waste. PCBs are currently subject to strict management under waste disposal laws, and under the "Special Measures Law for the Promotion of Proper Disposal of Polychlorinated Biphenyl Waste," enacted in 2001, businesses storing PCB waste are required to dispose of it by 2016. Businesses must confirm whether there is a possibility of PCB contamination in waste electrical equipment. [Analysis Content] - High-concentration sulfuric acid treatment - Silica gel column fractionation - Capillary gas - Chromatograph - Electron capture detector (GC/ECD) method For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

Analysis of "Fertilizer Analysis"

We also accept analyses in various fields!

Fertilizers are applied to land and other areas for the purpose of providing nutrients to plants, and they work by causing chemical changes in the soil while also promoting plant growth. They are broadly classified into two categories: "special fertilizers" and "ordinary fertilizers." "Special fertilizers" are those whose quality can be easily identified by the user and consist of simple compositions, including rice bran, fish meal, and compost. "Ordinary fertilizers" are those that guarantee the main components such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, with detailed official standards set according to the type of fertilizer, including chemical fertilizers and horticultural fertilizers. [Features] ■ Capable of responding to various analysis items ■ Also supports analysis in other fields *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.

Technical Information: Evaluation of Work Environment Measurement

Introduction of technical information such as A measurements conducted by dividing the unit work area into equal intervals both vertically and horizontally, and B measurements of air concentration!

I will introduce the evaluation of work environment measurement. Measurement A refers to the measurement conducted by dividing a unit workplace into equal intervals both vertically and horizontally to grasp the average state of harmful substance concentration in the air. Measurement B is a supplementary measurement to Measurement A, which involves measuring the air concentration at locations and times where the exposure level for workers is considered to be maximum. 【Overview】 ■ Measurement A: A measurement conducted by dividing a unit workplace into equal intervals both vertically and horizontally to grasp the average state of harmful substance concentration in the air. ■ Measurement B: A supplementary measurement to Measurement A, which involves measuring the air concentration at locations and times where the exposure level for workers is considered to be maximum. ■ First evaluation value: 5% of the unit workplace exceeds this concentration. ■ Second evaluation value: Arithmetic mean. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

[Technical Information] Measures taken by the business operator based on the evaluation of work environment measurement results.

Evaluation of work environment management, such as the 1st management category and the 2nd management category! Introduction of technical information.

We would like to introduce the measures taken by businesses based on the evaluation of the results of the work environment measurements. After measurement and evaluation, the conditions are categorized into three management categories: 1. The first management category, where "work environment management is deemed appropriate." 2. The second management category, where "there is still room for improvement in work environment management." 3. The third management category, where "work environment management is deemed inappropriate." In the case of the third management category, inspections and improvement measures are required. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Stress Load Testing Machine ISL-T300 + Birefringence Distribution Evaluation Device WPA-200

Real-time observation of orientation changes during the stretching of polymer films! Quantitative evaluation is possible as an in-plane distribution.

We would like to introduce the combination of the stress loading testing machine 'ISL-T300' and the birefringence distribution evaluation device 'WPA-200'. The change in molecular orientation due to the stretching of polymer films can be optically evaluated by measuring birefringence. However, it has been difficult to evaluate birefringence while simultaneously applying tension, especially as surface distribution information. With the proposed combination of devices, it is possible to quantitatively evaluate the orientation changes as a surface distribution during the stretching process. 【Device Specifications】 <ISL-T300> ■ Maximum Load: 300N ■ Travel Distance: Up to 30mm ■ Testing Speed: 0.08 to 8mm/min ■ Chuck Spacing: 2 to 32mm ■ Sample Thickness: 1.5mm or less *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Dioxin analysis

[MLAP (Specific Measurement Certification System) Certification] We can conduct analyses for various media (ambient air, working environment, waste, and blood).

What are dioxins? Dioxins is a collective term that includes polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins (PCDD), polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDF), and coplanar polychlorinated biphenyls (co-PCB). There are 75 types of PCDD, 135 types of PCDF, and 12 types of coplanar PCB isomers, each with varying toxicity. Toxicity of dioxins Among the 29 types of toxic dioxins, the toxicity varies for each. The most toxic, "2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin," is assigned a value of 1, and the toxicity of other dioxins is expressed relatively in comparison. This relative coefficient is called the Toxicity Equivalence Factor (TEF). The analysis results are the sum of the toxic equivalents (TEQ) for each isomer, calculated by multiplying the measured concentration for each isomer by its Toxicity Equivalence Factor (TEF).

Radiation and radioactivity analysis

It is possible to compare and examine using methods that conform to standards and guidelines.

Radiation and radioactivity analysis is conducted using a germanium semiconductor detector for precise nuclide analysis tests (Becquerel: Bq/kg). Comparisons and evaluations can be made using methods that comply with standard values and guidelines. It typically takes about 3 business days (with urgent reports available within 24 hours). Please inquire about the detection limit for small samples (10g or more). It is also possible to standardize the detection limits in the reports. We conduct numerous analyses for food, school lunches, drinking water, pool water, incineration ash, public facilities, and collaborative research related to radioactive substances with the Faculty of Agriculture at Yamagata University. For more details, please contact us.
