We have created a karate timer and score board that can flexibly adapt to rule changes in karate. By using the Raspberry Pi 5 as the "brain," we achieved operation via a numeric keypad, dual screen display (for the operator and for judges/players), and cost reduction. With feedback from federation instructors, we have reached a practical level of completion.

The Gemidis heating device is designed in the shape of a heating coil that can be integrated into production lines, allowing for continuous heating of the getter inside fluorescent lamps. Gemidis (GEMEDI®) is a trademark of Saes Getters S.p.A., and we have received permission from the Japan branch manager to refer to it as the "Gemidis heating device." This Gemidis is a dispenser developed by the Saes Group for sealing mercury into fluorescent lamps. By applying high-frequency heating to this Gemidis, it becomes possible to seal a precise amount of mercury into the fluorescent lamps. The Minamata Convention on Mercury, adopted and signed in October 2013, will lead to increasingly strict regulations on the amount of mercury sealed in fluorescent lamps worldwide starting in 2020. The Bomberta heating device is a device that heats getters. Since this getter is inside a glass tube, it cannot be heated with a flame. Therefore, it is heated using high-frequency induction heating. The size of the getter varies, but it is possible to raise the temperature of those with a diameter of about 1mm and a length of 3 to 5mm. Press-fitting the differential ring gear without heating can cause burrs and scratches, so heating it to about 100°C allows for smooth press-fitting. The heating device for the differential ring gear uses a 20 kW, 35 kHz induction heating power supply for approximately 3 kg of differential ring, and can heat it to the shrink-fit temperature in about 10 seconds. For a differential ring weighing about 5 kg, a 30 kW, 15 kHz induction heating power supply can also heat it to the shrink-fit temperature in approximately 10 seconds. The ring gear automatic shrink-fitting device uses induction heating through high frequency to heat the ring gear and press it into the flywheel. An IH power supply of 5-7 kW: 35 kHz is used for heating. It is possible to set about 30 ring gears in the stocker, and the operator can set the flywheel in the designated position for automatic start. The device automatically takes the ring gear from the stocker, performs front and back judgment if necessary, heats it to the shrink-fitting temperature, and automatically presses it into the flywheel.
